I was let go this morning. My supervisor was crying and she said there are few more coming from our team. On a flip side, I am a very positive person and I took the news very well. I was with Pratt and Collins for last 9 years. I was supporting business for special SAP projects. They gave me 2 months pay as a severance package. Well, I am confident I will find a job sooner than later as lots of company hiring SAP IT perosn. I am only 42. I do feel sad for people who have limited knowledge about system and they will struggle. I was a sr.manager making 165000 a year. I even got bonus of 16k last paycheck and now let go this morning. Being very transparent. I was a remote employee with collins. With Pratt I was on site employee until Covid. It was a pleasure working for pratt and collins. It is what it is. Not blaming company or anything.
