How’s it going?

Haven’t popped into Layoff for many months. Come in today and the last comment is like 4 months old. Did RVBD close the doors? Does the corpse have a pulse? Can someone provide an overview of what’s going on? How have the last couple of quarters... — read more

Why are you still at Riverbed?

No judgement on your reasons. I'm curious, for the folks who are still actually working at Riverbed: why? Or is this forum entirely made up of bitter ex-Riverbuddies now?

Tone deaf town hall, showing off luxurious presidents club, and flashy “Vegas” studio for SKO and Webcast while no raises in years.

All while engineering in the comments begging for raises for their hard work stating we haven’t gotten raises in years, and then Dave lectures the entire company stating he’s answered this question THREE times and goes on an unhinged tone deaf rant... — read more

Can somebody please help me out? I've heard there's a possibility of layoffs before the end of the year and I joined a little over six months ago. I'm petrified that I might be affected and I'm not even sure if I'd be eligible for severance. Is there... — read more

How is RT still here?

He is such a bag of hot air, making claims about all the great things we're doing but all the products still have all the same problems. A lot of talk with little action and progress. New things don't make old problems go away. The new stuff is... — read more

Why are we still here?

I came here to find out if there are layoffs coming. Instead I found this short and sad gist of the state of affairs. Maybe I shouldn’t fear the layoffs after all? Riverbed is a shadow of its former self with ZERO chance of profitability or... — read more

What is the end game?

I can only see bankruptcy and liquidation is the only end game I can think of. The other options would be IPO or acquisition. There is no way they can IPO until they become reasonably profitable, which I see no path towards. Acquisition would be... — read more

F your package

F Riverbed's HR/Legal cronies. The default package handed out is a complete insult to those who gave it their all. I hope you did right by you by not accepting their original cr-p offer. Shame on you.
