TB weren't exactly the sharpest tools in the shed. Not that Vector seems much better, but let's not pretend any of these people were geniuses. Still way smarter than the current crop of dim bulbs on the ELT, but still pretty much just a bunch of misfits and also-rans who happen to have money.

What makes anyone think this time will be different? If TB failed, well you know.

When you bought in when TB took riverbed private, the agreement stated that they had the right to force you to sell at the current stock price if you left the company. Class A shares appreciated 9% every year. The company enforced the sale clause and forced everyone to sell when they left the company for a long time until the company really started to struggle and needed the money. That was some time in 2020 I believe. Then everyone was wiped out in bankruptcy later on.

If you left within the first few years after going private you got your money plus 9% for each year for your class a shares. Class b shares were peanuts, but I got a little for those too.

Lastlaugh - when were you let go? I'm not aware of anyone who made any money on the TB or Apollo stocks.

I’m amazed people keep finding PE firms d-mb enough to buy riverbed. Each one thinks they will be the geniuses to something squeeze a profit out of the company. They just lose money and eventually dump it for less than they paid.

I made money on my stock. I was let go and forced to sell. Timing is everything.

Effluvio IQ a dogs breakfast. They’ve sold…. Hardly anything. Spent a fortune. It was the bright shiny. Got all the resources. No one cared. RT and anyone he brought with need to GO

RT hasn't had a single idea of his own his entire career at Riverbed, he just translates it all from the original Russian. If you want to have any chance of selling modern innovative products that people actually want, you need to get rid of the whole senior eng management or you're just going to get the same garbage from a different smiling face.

What a delightful change to see such a diverse group take the helm. Meet the new boss, same as the old boss, I think we’re all getting fooled again.

Here's hoping SB & RT are next. Those 2 played a big part in Riverbed's downfall the past couple of years. One couldn't sell what we had and the other wasted time building something new that nobody wanted.
