More people being “disappeared “….

It’s Oct, a new quarter and it looks as though more people are being “disappeared “. Anybody know anything?

I see there has been some promotions in PS now that they have some spare $$.
Get rid of the CSM's and promote the money grubbers.

Oooouuuu oooouuu me me me pick me pick me pick me. I "disappeared" for managing up and having a bigger brain. Someone else posted about small dik energy and is spot on.

VC, if you're reading this, congratulations on keeping the tradition of letting talent go and keeping around upper management dead weight.

Piece of advise, put some strong lipstick on this pig and sell it ASAP.

Vector had said ( in July) “ oh we have no plans for layoffs”. Yeah. Sure. Who believed that for a second…..I got a bridge to sell ya.

The severance packages are terrible. If you are US based and senior…(expensive) you’re at risk. Even if you hold key technology. You are at risk…..because damn bro….you are replaceable.

Based on the seniority and age of some of those “disappeared “….. I gotta ask….at what point does this become ageism?

Also, if “ your boss doesn’t like you” because you questioned their decisions….you’re gone. (see Dunning Kruger effect….)

I’ve also heard that some “junior, outside the US replacement reqs” have been opened to do the work of those “senior, experienced expensive (old) US employees” that were disappeared. . Hmmmmm. Bro….is that legal? Probably but still.. immoral, unethical and just f—ked up.

This RIF is an opportunity for your managers to rid of people they don’t like. Not strictly a numbers or performance issue. Trust me. For those who made the cut, congratulations and keep riding the gravy train but know your clock is ticking.

And ph--k you VC for treating our people like garbage with the sh-t package.
