I'm surprised how many good people are sticking it out. Then again I was one of those and I stuck it out way past the sell-by date.
Anyone left to fix the code for the dwindling customer base? Glad I left before Vector.
If 49 went last week. They’ve violated WARN notice laws. There were 5 additional people from PS that disappeared 3 weeks ago.
Sad, was a great company for many years when Jerry Was running the show.
Lost trust of its employees when they convinced them to vote to approve a
Bankruptcy that wiped out their stock values only to be acquired almost immediately… think VC had a say?
About 20pc of workforce overall RIF’d is what I’m hearing. Vector applying the QAM model with no understanding or care about the tenure or knowledge of emps affected. Loads of old hands gone in Sales, Channel and PS. Savings on the balance sheet is a short term win but the remaining salesforce has no idea how to sell Aternity or Alluvio IQ. Will be a white-knuckle ride for those remaining over the next few Q’s. Good luck everyone!
Moral of the story. Chunks of 49 cuts will continue, so don’t trust your manger. They’re in cahoots with VC.
Not surprised. Riverdead sells dead products, so of course Sales/Support/PS gets the axe. Ancillary supporting teams will follow suit but to a lesser degree.
49 people laid off. "California’s WARN Act requires notice for mass layoffs of 50 or more employees, regardless of the percentage of workforce." Don't expect any details now or in the future, just submit and obey.
It’ being eviscerated.
Yeah Channels and Sales got hit
Was there another cut or what?
lots of them are already picking up the pieces for many years, even for the people that do have a job still
Wait, what are there MOAR layoffs planned for today? Crikey
