I know it is normal that managers cut off communication with their laid off reportees. My manager was in touch with me on a personal note all of last week after I was impacted, but is now MIA; won’t respond to my calls or texts. This is my first time... — read more
No CISO?
Who's supposed to handle security at the board level if the CISO role doesn't exist? Does Nike not give a sh-t about security?
Nike Did Not Have a Distribution Problem. It Had An Ego Problem.
Interesting take from Mastroberti Consulting. Unfortunately, it fails to mention the cultural rot within the company and lack of leadership. ... — read more
Investor Day 2026 - Hold or Short?

No more Remote = Time to Move On
Last week I found out that they're doing an RTO mandate for all of tech. An absolute cluster-fck of infrastructure to get 700 roles back in office. I'm sure this will make less driven employees more productive and the shoe designers who cry foul... — read more
I have not logged on to my laptop since November 2025. It’s amazing I still work at Nike
I’m not going to bother logging on my laptop until it’s time to get my W-2 form for this year of hard work I have been preforming.
Last time someone you know was promoted on merit?
I've got nothing. Maybe that's the real issue here.
I don't think that issue with Nike is not
EH but rather PK not letting EH do anything radical to fix it the way he sees it necessary. I guess PK is not really gone but applying his invisible pressure behind EH's back. That makes EH a puppet. PK a actual power
You are getting recycled by design - Nike is a cult
Nike is an eloborate blend of MLM & ponzi scheme. They do know that they still have the brand name and a lot of clueless young people being exposed to the woke coolaid. They indoctrinate you into the cult during hiring, serve you the coolaid... — read more
Title mill
Have to share. Scrolling through the org chart on Friday realized that Nike is just now a corrupt diploma mill of engineering job title. Seriously a complete joke. I saw that consistently if people were promoted internally over time it was... — read more
Nike is no longer a Growth stock
Anta makes great shoes lower cost and just as good if not better. China market is lost and surely, they will lose N America as well. Nike is losing market share. This company is so bloated. try a 5-10K layoff like Intel to become Nimbler. Way bloated... — read more
‘Woke’ has nothing to do with Nike’s struggles

Non Competes

Taxes for Severance Package Reminder

CS and GC
How is CS doing in greater china? Insiders tell me she’s jealous she didn’t get the VP of EMEA and is nearly ready to give up already. Thoughts? Is APLA sticking around after 1 June? I also heard not.
Question to VPs and above
Have we figured how to increase sales? If not, no matter what you do (kick off lowly employees to save some change), wall street will keep shorting they will bring PE to 15 or less.

Confused
Cuts done and ac is a vp who reports to a vp who reports to a vp who reports to an evp? How again are we cutting operating costs in tech???? That’s 4 vp layers in that instance alone, aside from sr director layers…
the problem is that Nike is trying to fix the issue while being status quo
therefore all they do is layoff here and layoff there. Nike should be ready to take their sales down as low as $35 billions a year. Start from the scratch. Because once Nike has their marbles together it will be matter of time because sales shot... — read more
We need more cuts. A sh-t ton more!!!!!!!

Most of the people who were let go… were let go for a reason.
Unpopular opinion: many of the people who were let go weren’t adding enough value to justify their roles. If we’re being honest, there’s probably more inefficiency still left in the system.
If Nike is doing so bad
Why don’t they change the people on the executive level? Should changes not start at the top?
