“Dismantled, Disregarded, and Disrespected

It’s beyond frustrating to watch how remote employees — many of whom have dedicated years to this company — are being slowly frozen out. If leadership has already decided that remote workers outside a few select hubs have no future here, the right thing to do is be transparent and offer severance, not string people along with empty promises and blocked opportunities.

They’ve dismantled Tech Risk under the guise of org consolidation and pushed everything into the new Corporate Functions structure. Fine. But now, they’re openly saying they’ll only hire into this “new” org if you’re located in Minneapolis, Charlotte, or New York. Translation: if you’re not physically near a hub, your career progression stops here — and you can’t even apply for internal roles.

No options. No support. Just silence.

The message is loud and clear — and it’s incredibly disrespectful to the people who’ve been loyal through tough times, reorgs, and chaos. If you’re going to treat remote employees like they don’t exist, at least have the decency to let them go with dignity — not hang them out to dry while pretending everything’s business as usual.

Sale is unlikely. Polaris project - employee reduction is believable

Would be hard to believe there is a sale of a 145 year old company. But a Polaris project employee reorganization (reduction) is more likely. My guess, if you don’t need to physically turn the pipe. Your job will be sent elsewhere.

Good luck everyone.

Shale and Tight Post Layoff Mess

Let’s discuss the shale and tight post reorg mess. Over two months in following wave 1 and people still don’t know what is going on with workflows with minimal guidance from leadership because they don’t know. Folks at the working level are doing their best to figure it out. morale is at an all time low. When will the management stars and their followers who designed the new org be held accountable for the mess.

Post ER Demotions?

I survived ER in August and was moved to a new position. This new team seems a mix of different grade levels (not confirmed, just my feeling).

Anyone heard of talk, or maybe think that, in the next months there could be another re-alignment of levels and pay reduction?

I personally wouldn’t put it past them, but at the same time I’d have hoped they at least figured out this new team I’m on since it’s net new.

What the feck is going on with data science?

I’m seeing many resignations on LinkedIn following the selections.

I’m seeing teams recruiting externally for data scientists after layoffs.

I’m hearing of unqualified people, with no background in data science, being given positions, whilst others are let go.

I’m hearing that AI has been moved under CNE?!

WTAF?

HR

HR Reorg.. what a joke! Rotating favorites is the new strategy. What will their resumes say.. I laid off people when we had the category offense, I laid off people in the consumer offense, I laid off the laid off people… ha ha ha.
The CHRO is a joke, her minions are a joke.

Perpetual reorgs

We've had so many reorgs in the last few years and the only thing that changes after it's done is we have fewer employees who have to work more for the same money. Nothing else ever changes. What kind of pathetic, incompetent leadership only uses layoffs to prop themselves up?

Wealth changes?

Anyone know anything about the suspected wealth changes now that the “leader” is hitting his 100 day milestone? Sounds like it’s in Oct. - saw a post a while ago that mentioned fall shifts.. is this it?

He doesn’t want all the leaders at his table? Potentially merging groups within his leadership. SLs will turn into PLs and their skills along with SMs will be reassessed.. as they merge “delivery” under technology. Hearing VP IC in jeopardy. Delivery teams will merge. Whatever happened to BME? Not that it was working.

2 groups in wealth are quite large and hearing he doesn’t like top heavy. I’d appreciate the shake up since my group is a joke.

End of Control 1q2026

Was told by Kiker direct that BCMs moving to business and control will have centralized oversight and closer engagement with second line. Makes sense and just like other efficiencies, this is going to have staff reduction to weed out all the unnecessary layers with control.

Comcast plans to cut jobs at its biggest unit, housing broadband and pay TV

Comcast is planning to cut jobs at its biggest unit that houses its Xfinity internet, mobile and pay television business, a source familiar with the matter said on Friday, as the company attempts to centralize operations and bolster its broadband business.

Starting January, Comcast will remove a layer between the corporate and regional offices, a shake-up that will streamline the management of the unit but also reduce headcount.

How’s Apache doing post reorg. The good, The bad, The ugly

Hows Apache doing in these interesting times?
Will APA dump the North Sea assets on BPs lap…and say See Yeah…
Is the Permian basin witnessing hard declines yet? Daily ESP failures…
Will Surinam deliver as promised or at substantially lower rates?

You define the future…

Class Action!

Looking to file a class action. They know information integral to our decision on what to post for, share it with a select few, tell selective lies and half truths to the extent that this reorg is unfair and favors those privy to this information over others. Heard from more than a few that conversations with reps/job owners steer into way too personal questions in an attempt to disqualify us.

Don’t share too much, but if anyone knows of a specialty law firm to get started.

Frustration with the reorg silence

The pending reorg is draining the company. There’s no information and no transparency about what’s coming next. At the same time, leadership keeps asking for more and more work without providing org clarity. Do they realize how unreasonable it feels to demand so much while sharing so little?

Worried about what’s ahead

With the CEO stepping down, it’s hard not to feel uncertain about what’s next. Whoever takes over is likely to bring major changes. And we all know that frontline employees are usually the first to feel the impact of any reorganization or cuts. The economy’s slipping, the job market isn’t great, and many of us are already stretched thin, both financially and emotionally. A little stability would go a long way in easing the pressure we’ve all been feeling. But right now, it’s hard to see where that might come from.
