Salary Transparency Thread

In full transparency, and in support of everyone trying to navigate the uncertainty right now, I think it could really help if we start sharing salary information. Having a clearer picture of compensation across grade levels and roles can empower all of us as we make decisions and advocate for ourselves.

If you’re comfortable, please share your grade level and salary as well. No pressure - only if you feel safe doing so. The more information we have collectively, the better we can understand where we stand.

We’re all trying to support each other through a really tough time, and transparency can make a huge difference.

US Bank Pay grades

Does anyone know the full scale of a Grade 15 / 16 at US Bank? are they geo dependent (for the scale).

I am about to most likely receive an offer for a position that the range advertised is

119 to 140K (likely to receive at 130 -135K per recruiter)

I hear the range actually goes to 160K+ (base only)

Is this correct?

Post ER Demotions?

I survived ER in August and was moved to a new position. This new team seems a mix of different grade levels (not confirmed, just my feeling).

Anyone heard of talk, or maybe think that, in the next months there could be another re-alignment of levels and pay reduction?

I personally wouldn’t put it past them, but at the same time I’d have hoped they at least figured out this new team I’m on since it’s net new.

Just when you thought Intel couldn't get any weirder

So, after doing some cloud/DevOps/Python nonsense, my mission at Intel is over. I think I’ve been getting the usual market compensation, but now, for economic reasons, I have to leave—no hard feelings about that.

Out of pure curiosity, I browsed open roles at Intel, and what caught my attention was an NPU Compiler Developer C++ role at grade 7. Really? Most people I know have much higher pay grades, and honestly, they could clean the shoes of compiler developers.

I’m not claiming to be smarter than the CEO, but to me, this looks like a clear sign Intel’s finally tanking.

Intel Bonus Structure

Most companies I have been at clearly state the company’s bonus structure for employees. For example level A 10-15% bonus potential Level B 15-20% potential etc. Does anyone know if there is something like that at Intel? Does a "FPGA Enginner Grade 5" have more bonus potential than a “Product Engineer - Grade 6”? If so what are those numbers for APB and QPB?
