Employee Tracking Software

Based on recent media coverage of Meta tracking laptop activity and taking screenshots to train the AI to replace the people it is tracking, does anyone know of this sort of thing in Dell?

Seems our colleagues in Europe can ask under law and be told but not sure if anyone would or has done this.

Any confirmation of this in any region or BU?

I’m not looking for comments that are jumping to conclusions or making guesses based on feelings. Any real info out there?

RIF 2026 Q4 - 2027 Q3?

Can anyone corroborate a document I found which forecasts RIF beginning in Q4 through Q3 of next year? I don't want to give too many details but it was a full time employee forecast for one of the major support units. The decline began in Q4 with a few hundred RIFees each quarter and then a steep drop in Q3.

Any DX Healthineers on here?

Hello,
I recently transferred from GLA to WAL. What's the word on the street? It sounds like Tarrytown is in a very precarious situation. Seeing a lot of retirements in Walpole - are they forced early retirements? My friends still in Glasgow still work there but they don't seem to be a part of our huge 6% loss in diognostics

Are the layoffs over??

Many people on my team in cyber are worried they’re next. Some well loved employees have already been let go and no one feels safe right now! One person told me they think leadership will replace her by moving her role to India. Has anyone heard anything?? They’ve made poor decisions already on who they decided to lay off.

Is Humana an Ageist Company?

I am over 50 and considering applying at Humana but like many companies that seem to have become ageist and removing older folks first, I am concerned about applying here.

To those of you that either still work there or those who used to work there think they may have been discriminated against because of their age, I repeat tje same question as in the post title.

Is Humana an ageist company?

Thanks in advance.

Utah BLM Announces Staff Cuts

The Department of the Interior confirmed layoffs for Utah's Bureau of Land Management. This decision affects nearly 100 employees. The BLM manages 42% of Utah's land, protecting natural areas. Conservation groups express concern over impacts to threatened landscapes. The Red Cliffs Conservation Area, a critical habitat, is among affected areas.

Can somebody explain this pattern to me?

I've been through a few layoff rounds now and I've started tracking who goes. The pattern makes no sense. Hard workers, people with great reviews, people who consistently deliver get cut. People who coast, who hide in meetings, who produce almost nothing stay. People usually explain it as being about salary. High performers have been here longer and make more, which make them targets, and the cheaper people survive. Which makes sense only if you disregard the fact that this sends a message not to be too good at your job. Just be average and cheap and you'll be safe. How is that kind of workforce good for the company?

Next Shoe to Drop

At Chevron for employees its a race to the bottom with MW and his terrible team running this S Show. What is the next soul crushing move for this leadership team? Will we take turns cleaning the bathroom? Work a mandatory 6 days a week? No AC in the office? Bring your own TP in? Anyone have any idea as its been a couple months since they made things worse!

Hantavirus

We are a much worse place with significantly more terrible, weak, shallow, and insecure leadership than when the COVID pandemic hit in early 2020. Im nervous that if the hantavirus becomes a pandemic that these human skinsuits will not react well or empatheticly. Anyone else feel the same?
