Laptop WiFi doesn't work Thursdays when working remotely

I'm trying to work remotely today and the WiFi says no connections available when in fact there are many available connections. For example, My cellphone is connect to the WiFi and I can see all of the WiFi connections from my phone. This happened to me last Thursday as well and when I went to the office it worked. Did the company decide to shut down WiFi and force employees to go to the office by shutting down the WiFi?

The job market has been terrible for the last few years

Is it ever going to improve? I am especially afraid of being laid off because of how bad things are. I am relatively new to the workforce, so for those with more experience, has there been another period like this before? And how long did it take to turn around?

Are they really d-mb or not getting the real information from their as* kissers or good liars?

I cannot believe the words coming out from these so called leaders mouth. I guess as long as they can travel the world and enjoy in company’s cost - they don’t care. It will be another company that goes to ground.

I can see why they wouldn't give specific details while negotiating but they could at least give us the most general description of the current situation, right?

Why is this company so tone deaf?

Stock is down nearly 20% today and the message from the top is about mission and culture and embracing AI. Only one sentence about Medicare rate notice. If anyone watched the Capitol Hill hearing from last week, both parties are gunning for us. Yet leadership is going on about re-energizing our culture (whatever that means). So tone deaf.

No raise for 2026?

I have been working at The Bank for over a year now so this is my first time being eligible for a raise. I started in August 2024. Did anybody else not get a raise? I’m trying to understand if it’s just me or is it something that is quite common at The Bank. I’ve never not received a raise at my previous companies. Your input will help. I receive a meets/meets on my annual review
