Working for Vista after Citrix

Quick poll: in the US alone, there are 724 jobs with Vista companies. Thinking that we’ll lose our jobs at Citrix, by our choice or TK’s, would you consider working for one of them? I might, if I’m desperate. I’d prefer to avoid any Vista company... — read more

Motivating employees to leave

Citrix does not care at all that the best are leaving. As for me, I definitely intend to leave, but I'm afraid that it will be too late for this company when they realize that they have done irreparable damage to it. It's easy to cut... — read more

Look

Basically, I'm just not going to quit. I know.. UGH.. I know.. I'm sorry - really. I am just going to stay until they have to pay me severance.. HAHA

No regrets

I left a month ago. I know I could have waited for severance but I didn't want to risk not being able to find a job when everybody is laid off and looking at the same time. I have no regrets. My new job is with a smaller company and the difference in... — read more

What percentage are they aiming for?

There's got to be some number they have thought of that's the ideal number of employees for them. I wish they would communicate either that or the percentage of employees they plan to cut. I know it doesn't make a lot of difference to some whether we... — read more

Junping ship?

Wait until one of the new directors decides to jump ship. They might all be publicly putting on happy faces, but you know at least one of them is doing some thinking about their careers. P.S. a couple of them do not live near an office; will they... — read more

Be aware of the FUD

Hi all, as many of you, 10+ years Citrite waiting to see what happens. While we find a lot of interesting posts and information here, we also need to evaluate who might be the real poster. Could be people spreading fud, could be competitors, could... — read more

Pay cuts may be coming if not laid off

TK said base salaries will be adjusted to market. Who decides what "market" is? And if your current salary is above "market", I suppose you can expect a cut.

RSUs and April awards

Anyone has any experience with invested RSUs and layoffs? What about our awards from April, granted as a results of our performance in 2021? Any chance to get this money?

Office Closures?

I have a friend in commercial real estate in Raleigh. He believes Citrix is considering closing offices here. Does anyone know if Fl or SC is up for lease?

The truth about getting laid off as a Citrix employee

I’m a Citrite of 10+ years. I am getting cut in a couple weeks. I already know… 100%. I’ve been interviewing over the past month, so I’m heading out the door as prepared for this moment as much as I possibly can be. My feelings? The unfiltered truth... — read more

Obviously Citrix has no values

There was a comment comparing the downfall of Citrix to Enron. Looking up Enron’s history this is a fair comparison. Citrix no longer has a moral path…anything goes. Truth, respect, courage, curiosity and innovation are no longer valued. These have... — read more

New Software to be used

Love how the CEO made technology decisions... garbage technology decisions. Leave tech decisions about which software we should be using to people who understand tech. I can't wait for this to turn out just like Wrike and Slack - with a huge... — read more

Citrix will lose employees it wants to keep

When layoffs start to happen, especially with no end in sight, the best employees who have plenty of options will start leaving together with those laid off. I'm talking about the talent the company wants to keep. The ELT might see the increased... — read more

For your own good - abandon ship

There are so many options outside of Citrix, great companies with great futures and still embracing remote work. I know how strong the connection can feel to Citrix when you have worked there for years, but trust me, it is liberating to break free. ... — read more

Unfair approach to layoffs

The leadership thinks that if layoffs are managed in this way, gradually getting rid of small numbers of people, it will avoid viral backlash and negative reporting in the media. But I think they are mistaken. Why? Because it is not conducting... — read more

Executive leaders all hands?

In his email TK said all executive leaders will have their own all hands meetings. Has anyone received an invite? Per TK during these meetings we will find out if our position is staying or being eliminated.

Despicable way to treat employees

There are many employees who were hired remotely pre-pandemic and have worked at Citrix successfully. And, there are employees that were given permission by their senior leaders to move and officially work remotely. Exactly! Some people will be... — read more

I have to ask

Do people who are advocating for RTO not have families? Or do you simply don't like them all that much? I can't figure out any other reason why you would prefer to lose a minimum of an hour - or two and more for some of us - commuting each day rather... — read more

Rto

I know that lately there’s been a lot of negative comments about RTO. But I was wondering is anyone excited to return to the office? I personally missed interacting with my fellow peers!

It’s Double Dip time!

For those that are still there, I’d try your damndest to find a new job and focus 100% on fulfilling the new job and put 10% on maintaining a Citrix paycheck. Double dip the heck out of them, build your rainy day fund and you’ll be forever grateful... — read more
