Thread regarding Citrix Systems Inc. layoffs

Unionize. Now.

This should be obvious.

Who's protecting us from TK and finance messing with our salaries? Who's protecting our rights when it comes to PTO use? Who's fighting back for Thank You days being thrown out? Are we really letting our cries for actual windows in half of one of the tier 1 offices go unheard? Who knows if you, reader, even have a job in a day, week, month, or year from now? Who's going to actually call TK's word of transparency when he failed in the same all-hands to provide it?

No one. It could be you, if you plan to stay. This is fu----g with our lives, our families, our mental health, our homes, and our wallets. This has everything to do with you being unconsensually reamed by elites.

This is a small rap sheet, and it only gets worse. Protect yourself, protect each other. This company is nothing without us. Do it for the future generations of CSG so they don't have to feel the way we do. Do it for yourself so you aren't dreading opening your email every day waiting for the next big tire fire of a company-wide email.

There will be no future generations of CSG. There is literally nothing left to save. And definitely nothing that a union could fix. We are WAY beyond that at this point... Follow all of the other threads and update your resume....

Y'all don't even get it then. You're blinded by the playbook. Want to fully sabotage the playbook? Union. It doesn't even have to go well. They'll have a harder time selling entire companies/products off, making them lose enough more money on the deal, and we are less valuable to the PE market as a unionized company. Y'all don't want to put a nail in the coffin? Just watch it slowly burn? Set it on fire yourself cowards.

"Do it for the future generations of CSG"

Wow, someone is clearly in total denial of what is happening here. CSG is a holding company for the short term, with no 'future' anticipated beyond the planned contraction of BUs. Once the immediate cost-cutting is over and done, then the assets will be sold to other companies for pennies on the dollar. This is the standard PE playbook. Google it and see

"This should be obvious." You must be a UK or other European employee. Joining a union might be obvious to someone that lacks the skills and self-confidence to move on.

To everyone else, this is the pitiful last resort for someone who is clearly desperate - knowing what will happen to them, very soon. Go ahead, at the next GEM tell TK that you're the one that is pro-union, instead of being this frightened anonymous coward.

What union are you going to join? International Brotherhood of Whining White Collar Workers Who Get Paid Six Figures But Think They Work in Coal Mines?

Yes yes yes! I agree. We need representation to push back on the team of lawyers the PE has. Let’s get this done. PW caused this.

He said "this company" not Citrix. And later on he specifically mentions CSG (Cloud Software Group)... I think YOU may have Citrix on the brain.

"This company"... how many times do we have to say that THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS CITRIX ANYMORE? Vista is the new owner and they can do what they want.
