There are so many options outside of Citrix, great companies with great futures and still embracing remote work. I know how strong the connection can feel to Citrix when you have worked there for years, but trust me, it is liberating to break free. I did like many others and found a new job. I have zero regrets, except that I didn't make the move sooner. Please, if you aren't happy with the new company direction, reach out to your friends who have already moved on and find a lifeline. There is a huge amount of talent being wasted on trying to clutch tightly to the small core of entrenched customers. Look up BlackBerry, Palm, Novell, Motorola and other companies who died when their core market was eaten by stronger competitors, all of them thought that they had a moat around their most loyal customers and that would pull them through. Citrix's name will be on this list sooner than you might think.

Dont quit. Dont give them the satisfaction. Wait for severence.
ALL of our competitors are hiring and Citrites are highly sought after. Citrites are loyal to a fault - the old culture we all loved is gone - do what's right for your REAL family and get out now before the mass layoff in November. Again - ALL of our industry competitors want to hire Citrites. In this instance, the grass IS greener on the other side.
Leave, and never look back... many have already done exactly that. Free at last!
