Thread regarding Citrix Systems Inc. layoffs

Citrix HR will be hugely impacted, just as TIBCO HR has already been. Don't kid yourselves, these teams are as vulnerable as all others - and get to do the dirty work too.

You're doing your manager a favor. He/she probably doesn't like gettting rid of people,especially people they've worked with for a long time. By "volunteering", you're helping the manager make hard decisions that they can't avoid. And you've freed yourself in the process.

I've joined the Heroes! Now I'm finally feeling some relief.

I told my manager I want my job to be cut first, and I'm ready to leave on my own terms. I'm no longer afraid. He also seemed to be relieved that I volunteered to be laid off.

Looking forward to my new job search. Truly, I haven't don't this for a very long time.

I'm not seeing FUD, but I am seeing authentic posts like "The truth about getting laid off as a Citrix employee." It's so refreshing to see long time employees demonstrate the courage to leave and not be afraid the share their feelings of vulnerability.

People that spend a decade or more at the same company clearly are more concerned about their future. But those who've decided to act, rather than wait, should be commended. They're some of the real heroes as the last chapter of this story unfolds.

There is no Citrix HR. There is only one HR, for Cloud Software. Citrix is not a company anymore.

I know, I think Citrix HR is on here a lot trying to confuse Citrites by posting pro PE statements. Anything that’s pro Citrix, I question. Anyone have more information of Nick’s team or Sales?
