Changes in this company happen without any vision or any really thought-out long-term plan. That's how it seems to me. That's why it's hard to even imagine what the future could be like for an employee here. There is no point in working under the constant fear of being next on the cut list. So far, I have left several companies but leaving here was the easiest decision I had to make by far.

Recently left as well. I was customer-facing and believe me, a lot of current customers were already apprehensive about all of this as well as they've felt the pain for months now every time they call support since they've lost SO many to attrition. The very notable and significant departures by key longtime Citrites in consulting, PM, tech marketing, etc. were all signs on the wall that a lot of folks (me included) saw as troubling as there was a lot of Citrix tribal/historical knowledge, advocacy, and innovation that walked out the door in the last 10 months

The private equity owners, and their puppet TK, have a clear vision -- cut costs ASAP, and sell the remaining legacy software assets to a company that can harvest any remaining revenue. True, there is no long-term plan, but the PE playbook vision doesn't require one.
I recently left as well. It was bittersweet as I really loved my team but I can't work under a company who legit has no morals. One could argue that it's capitalism and all companies work that way but not this blatantly. I hope TK can't sleep at night and his kids grow up to realize how Daddy f*cks people over to make a dollar.
Even if a business needs to make cuts for financial reasons, this certainly isn't the high road way of going about it.
I had ins from various leadership and I've heard that there will be 3 separate rounds of layoffs, impacting all BUs. Attrition will be a major issue not just b/c of the layoffs but with all of the recent policy changes, benefits changes and turmoil. Those who are left will be forced to do the same amount of workload with half the people and massive amounts of historical knowledge lost. It will be miserable. Get out while you can.
I would have to be desperate, with absolutely no other options, to stay and work for that mo--n Krause in this wretched company.
