Did I hear it Forrest , they need more SE’s

That's hilarious. A lot of the best SE's left well in advance of any of this. They're getting offers way above what the pay bands are at CSG/Citrix/whatever this is now. Many of them landing in pure play cybersecurity companies or at places like ZScaler, Palo, ForcePoint, Fortinet, etc. More SE's and an assumed reduction or collapsing of the sales org would make a 1:1 mapping make sense, or else they'll do a pooled model if the game is to focus on current, large customers. Probably would need to bump up the number of channel SE's also maybe?
Maybe they are thinking of 1:1 mapping for ERM
I suspect, at least on the NetScaler side, is that they'll move commercial SEs into enterprise and go 1:1 with sales guys. The different SE teams just formed up back in Jan/Feb, before that it was a mix of commercial and enterprise for a lot of guys, depending on your sales mappings. It was 2 sales for every 1 SE, it will probably be 1:1 now.
It's a shame. A lot of commercial accounts are pure NetScaler without a penny of CVAD or other Citrix product. The enterprise side is mostly connect, so lots of NetScalers doing very little other than Gateway.
@@edx+1ja3PFdF - You must have been in a different meeting, because in the meeting today more (Enterprise) SE's is exactly what was said.
Definitely not. They basically said "we will still employ SEs," not that they need more.
