There are too many reasons why the outlook that people have on their work and this company has never been worse. Or maybe I'm wrong, maybe there were worse periods here in the past?

Long timer here - 10+ years
Bad times in the past we knew that things would pick up again. The company had great people still working here, some really smart and passionate employees.
No longer is that the feeling. From the pettiness or removing the thank you day, to the RTO comedy to the feeling that the GM and head of engineering are just zombies mouthing words it’s very very sad.
People need to understand, it's no longer Citrix. It's an investment being torn apart by greedy number crunches
If they had never given us a Thank You Day, Oct 28th would just have been another day. By giving it, then taking it away, I humbly submit that Oct 28th is now a Fu-k You Day. It’s certainly the message they’re sending. May as well name it correctly.

Anothre old-timer here, seen many ups and downs... morale never so low. The feeling is that this time Citrix is truly dead, no future ahead. End of the road.
Been here for nearly ten years, and it has never been this bad.
As has been said elsewhere, "Citrix" is unfortunately dead. You're just a box on the Cloud Software org chart, reporting to Krause.
I was one of those who worked at Citrix a while ago (in the Templeton years), left, and returned to Citrix a few years back in a different role. I can say that it’a most definitely the worst period of morale I’ve seen here ever. I think it’s finally setting in for many that the “Citrix” that many of us loved is no more and will never be again. I honestly worry about some of the people still here who are clinging desperately to the hope that it’ll someday come back to what it used to be like here. Those days and those people that made it great and successful are long gone.
