SAMs are now mandatory?

"A SAM SKU is now mandatory, covering 2.5 days per week." Why on earth would they make them mandatory? Getting rid of those do-nothings would be an easy savings. But instead they make them mandatory? Good job, Hock.

EUC being force into office starting today

Why? most of them are going through onboarding and they have to go into an office. I don't blame this on HT, as EUC is a division now within BC. Leadership within EUC is delusional, and if you want people to perform give them autonomy. If you want... — read more

I'm feeling dejected and depressed

Knowing that I'll be worrying and stressing over being employed every day for at least a year is not doing my mental health any favors. I don't know how the rest of you are handling this, but I'm not doing so well. Everywhere I look, it basically... — read more

Are the RSUs worth it to you

For those who came in with FTE offers to BC from VMW (not you native BC RSU w*ores), are the RSUs worth to you to stay? RTO 5 days a week, threats of layoffs for the next 2 years, company culture that was wiped out in 2 weeks, many of our customers... — read more

RSU Question

Since all Broadcom employees have their RSU's vest at the same time, do you typically see a sharp decrease in price every scheduled vesting date when a large number of employees are cashing them out? Or is this typically not large enough to make a... — read more

New BC contract who decides?

Our VMware Management says they have no influence who receives a offer or not. All decisions made by BC HR. This does not make sense from a business perspective. I don't believe local Sales or Country Management was not involved.

How will VCPP partners make money now?

The margins are tiny, the richness of services is non existent. Seriously, who would sign off on a VMWare based cloud now when you have a multi-year commitment of hardware, support contracts and licensing? Hyperscaler cloud won, that is the model... — read more

Can’t wait to get going or be laid off

This delay is ki-ling me. I’m bored. We’ve got customers who need solutions. If you’re any good you’ll get more money working elsewhere by all accounts…so why not be curious, loyal and willing to give it a go.
