Let's see there are at-least

That list is literal terminations and doesn't account for the thousands who were terminated and rehired back as contractors.

ireland is already 360, UK is around 200, Belgium probably around 10-15, expectations is that The Netherlands is around 35. That leaves large offices in France and Germany etc. And they already close down most of the Nordics. So 200 in total for EMEA is not accurate at all

Let's see there are at-least

2900 layoffs in the US (from WARN notices/media)
2900 layoffs in India (speculation since there are about the same number of employees in India as in the US)
1200 layoffs in CR (from previous layoffs posts)
100 layoffs in AUS (from previous layoffs posts)
200 layoffs in EUrope (including UK) - Also speculation

so the total is 7300 estimated layoffs already on close of acquisition.

That's about 19% of 38000 employees of VMware already laid off.

So, what's another 8% of remaining (2500~ of 30,000 employees)?

Right now we are about 33239 employees according to slack graph script. My question is. How many CB and EUC folks are there? I would check the difference between 33k employees those BUs and see how many left before any especulation

ONLY 8%? Needs to be way higher to ensure all the RTO slackers are purged.

How many were laid off in India? Or South America?
The 8% is just US and Australia

8% of the 38,000 VMware employees? Or 8% of the combined VMware/Broadcom employees.

U.S. WARN Notices + Australia notices add up to just a little more than 2,900. That's just under 8% if we're talking about 38,000.

But OP is right. The processes in European countries have only started.

Only 8%? Must be an outdated article you're looking at.

The current 8% layoffs figure is significantly understated, especially considering that countries such as Germany, France, and Ireland haven't initiated the process yet. Anticipate a substantial increase in this number over the coming months.
