I know some managers quit right away. If you have the whole management team despise the CEO, what good can come out of it? This is not the title down-level due to the acquisition, this is the pay down-level right after Magoo became CEO.
Raghu and Betsy are amateurs, they are not leaders. There are quite some p6 tech lead turned into Sr Managers, they are now down leveled to p5.

As a VM employee in UK and still in limbo how do I actually see my level (either VM or Bcom)? Is it on workday? I don't see ICB or such terms...

As a Sr manager I disagree with this policy but I have friends who think IC should get paid the same at same level so understand there are differences in opinion.
I think its worse for managers (ICB5) managing ICB5 and ICB6 who can get paid less / same as team members while having so much more responsibility. Why be a manager and responsible for the teams work when you can just be IC and not deal with everyone elses problems.
At higher levels (Sr manager) ICB6, 7, it becomes less of an issue because most of your team are not at this level.
20% cut to base was levied on all directors/staff 2 ICs and up. Sr managers/staff ICs and below did not get a cut to base salary. Haven’t learnt of anyone’s base going up.
Are Bcom cutting the salaries of every ex VMware employee with a FTE offer or is it dependent on the person? Ever go up?
I am a CIBG R&D director or was before BC down leveled to sr manager. Some of the staff and staff 2s on my team made more in base comp than me but most years I got more RSU refreshers than them. After the 20% cut to my base there are MTS 3 and seniors making in my team making 60K more than me in base.
Same level, same TC.
