Stock is up, and lots of changes now completed. There has been employee attrition so HT has decided to ease up the RTO mandates. Nothing will be commented, but it simply will not be enforce. He has decided to reevaluate at the end of 2024. Also getting rid of people also not on the horizon as he is starting to get it. Safe for now.

Don’t feed the trolls!………….
"Too late as I’ve already left due to the nonsense around 5day RTO."
Yet you still vent your spleen here - move on. Sounds from your comments though BCOM will be better off without you
"It's statements like this that require evidence to back them up."
Totally correct - but he has none. HT doesnt confide in a troll on a deluded social media site.
Broadcom's brain drain since he moved everyone RTO during COVID. It hasn't happened. Nor will it happen now.
I’m obviously talking about VMware folks, not the current bcom employees.
Existing bcom Software engineers doing support/“development” work for legacy products have made their bed and are sleeping in it.
It is also what Hock wants, so win win!
People have been forecasting Broadcom's brain drain since he moved everyone RTO during COVID. It hasn't happened. Nor will it happen now. You will leave to find a better role for you and Broadcom will continue on with most of its employees RTO.
Hock can take his 5 day RTO and shove it up his áss. I’ll easily get another job, so FU Hock. Don’t need an a--hole in my life like him. Seriously, âssholes like this still exist? What a tone deaf fossil. I’ll get my $ and my quality of life, no sweat.
Brain drain starts in 3… 2… 1…
Legacy software support starts in 1…
Less than 50 away from office, still working from home. No formal exception given yet. I know you are jelly.
I saw his coffee talk. The A players work really hard and need some flexibility. They will be picked up quickly by other companies and those companies know who they are. The competition is loving this and taking taking the top talent.
Our office will be closed in April and everyone will WFH who was assigned to that office. Yes, it’s happening!
It's statements like this that require evidence to back them up.
He has said that during all hands, no CEOs have done this extreme of RTO policy and he is testing it out. If enough people taking it seriously he may reevaluate his decision. If he doesn’t try it out, he will never know. However, by the time he realizes how bad it is, it is too late. Have a final interview here and if it is going great, cya.
The high levels of employee attrition is freaking him out. Do not worry, BC or HT wont fired you, he is in panic mode now. Ride it out for as long as you can.
Don’t feed the troll………
So NOT safe. And RTO is real. Nice fantasy.
GTO All Hands on Wednesday - return to office or you are fired.
What’s your source OP? What do you mean ease up? Can we just start doing work from home on random days without informing anyone?
Too late as I’ve already left due to the nonsense around 5day RTO. If he ever gave a fu-k about what 38k people tried to ask is at least 3days RTO which is majority of industry standard, he wouldn’t have to be a di-k and dictator. The fact he will evaluate at the end of 2024??? is nothing but a lie. What he will evaluate by then is how much control he’s had over the remaining staff who have now used to 5days commuting. If majority are doing what he’s enforced then he’s going to continue being a di-k
