Does anyone know what the attrition rate is at Broadcom? And how often do they do layoffs?

Only people I know that leave are retiring early because they made so much money.
I’m guessing a lot of vmware people are trying to get out now, asap, not 1 to 2 years. The acquisition was a mess and things don’t seem much better.
Attrition is low, because they pay well and mostly only people that can take the Broadcom culture makes it through hiring process.
Layoffs are few, except for from acquisitions for the first couple of years until the weak have been discarded.
Hock said attrition was low during his coffee chat.
Agree with some of the below, the culture change is very noticeable and can see quite a few VMware people staying 1 or 2 years and thinking this isn't for me. Especially in EMEA.
Attrition is less than 1%. People leave because they were fired.
No one wants to leave a job that is making them rich $$$$$
I heard it’s common for redundancy at BC and their own package is bones with nothing to chew. At least this redundancy is with VMW which should be a bit more decent
Layoffs are 24/7, though it does increase on public holidays , region dependent.
Attrition at Broadcom is 0 percent.
Layoffs are frequent to remove nonperforming and or remote workers.
Attrition is low because people like money and Broadcom pays good equity rewards.
Layoffs are scarce because Broadcom runs very lean and very flat.
I suspect attrition will be higher with VMware compared to previous Broadcom acquisitions because of the younger, WFH-obsessed VMware employees who are generally angry and bitter about the entire acquisition ordeal.
I suspect that post-acquisition layoffs and rehires will be higher with VMware due to the sheer size of the employee count and Broadcom will have to figure out how to make it all work.
