I found about 25% of the Staff in Cork to be reliable and useful. The remainder were backstabbing and only cared about themselves. Not to mention certain engineers who had children every 2 years.
So basically since Europe has a 1 year Maternity leave policy the other global teams had to cover them. This was for 4.5 out of 7 years.
Can’t run a business like that VMW.

Everything in Cork gets leaked.
That Campus has more holes than the Iraqi Navy.
It’s like gossip girl over there.

Let's face it, there were way too many rudderless job at VMware. IE that client solution executive role to mention one.
Something has to give

Letter states "performance based"

How does that nonsensical rhetoric work?

Performance from what accurate baseline? Open to manipulation?

GS is on borrowed time too as Medi Goker is already looking at outsourcing low spend customers. 12 months and GS in Cork will be whittled right down.

It’s basically GS that’s being kept, there are significant reductions in all the other teams. HR and Finance is completely gone from the email sent out today.

Where was it communicated that Parnell and Yeats buildings were being closed?

This is just the beginning, so expect more cost-cutting office closings across each Geo.

Gym is gone since covid. Kavanagh has the biggest open space canteen so often used for all hands so I am assuming that is the reason.

Plenty of folk live outside the
50 miles. Wonder what will happen to WFH for them.
Plus Yeats is closer to Behan HQ than Kavanagh House. With gym.
Odd they'd choose to close that.

Parnell & Yeats buildings to close. Most of GSS being kept so cork office will be around another while.

Less than predicted. Means Cork site is being kept which is a good thing.
