Forty hours feels like a fantasy. Everyone I know is logging fifty plus, and that is treated as normal. At what point did this become the expectation?
Has anyone heard about bonuses and raises?
My guess is plenty of first and second line management are going to have tough conversations this week.
sad to see
Real players are Aruba going forward, and he's the guy where they pull the string on his back and watch the show for a few minutes. You can tell he's just copying himself, wondering how to get a seat at the adults table for the big dinner.
WFR ???
Has anyone ever heard of an employee with less than 7 years at HPE ask to be on the WFR list?
Layoffs in Sales Org
Looks like the grinch is coming early, org getting hit this week.
Has HPE Drifted Too Far
I’ve been around HPE (HP) a long time, and I’m still hopeful about this company. But it’s only a matter of time before there are serious changes at the top, Antonio and parts of the board included. We need to clean out the toxic, arrogant pockets of... — read more

Integration Lemmings working hard to layoff themselves
Integration meetings between HPE and Juniper are in full steam and it is interesting to see the human psyche there. All lemmings working day and night, knowing that as soon as integration is complete, they will the first one to be let go. Toiling... — read more
Tone deaf 10 year celebrations
What’s the point of these celebrations when the very people that made this happen are let go? No meaningful strategy when it comes to these layoffs. Those at the top are coasting while those who do the actual work are treated like cr-p. Trust... — read more
More layoffs coming
They're being super quiet about it, but the fact of the matter is that there are more layoffs happening inside this company and it seems mainly due to the merger with Juniper. The surprising thing is that it isn't just traditional overlap functions... — read more

"What to do with all these sales people" -Toni
Rumor has it that Toni doesn't know "what to do with all these sales people". Apparently unimpressed with the Juniper sales teams. Are you ready? Get ready!
Teri the manipulator
14bn$ spent and 1 bn additional revenue to show for next 4 quarters and still a weak guidance for FY26. What a masterstroke by Teri to cover up his incompetence. Now watch Rami dancing around for next 3 years as he takes down HPE along with his... — read more

Any word on the impact on IT?

Wrong people in management positions
Our so-called “leader” just repeats buzzwords while others do the real work. You can practically hear the eye rolls in meetings. How people like that keep getting ahead while those who do the actual work stay stuck is beyond me.

Stop telling people to quit
A lot of folks say to just quit if we don't like it here, but that’s not realistic for everyone. IT jobs aren’t falling off trees right now, and we'd be competing with a lot of people, especially those of us mid-career or older. Best thing we can do... — read more
Still no layoffs on our side?
It sounds almost too good to be true.
Is there no one else that can lead?
Why does HPE keep shuffling the same leaders around? Is there no one else in their mind that can do a lot of these jobs? Doesn’t look like people that want to move up will get the chance. Plus all of it feels mundane and routine nothing exciting... — read more

Dell vs HPE
My husband was laid off from Dell (back in July) after 10 years there, but was recently offered a similar role at HPE, and for better pay than what he was making at Dell (in sales). My concern is HPE will just be more of the same, understaffed... — read more

HPE Cloud
This is prolly a d-mb question and might ruffle some feathers but, shouldn't HPE be a major cloud player with AWS, Google, and Microsoft? Was HPE not positioned to compete with those companies?
Get out now while you have options.. Aruba Networks
