Future of stock price?

What do people think the future looks like for PSKY? Honestly, I thought it was on the rise after the acquisition when it went up to close to $20, but it's obviously dropped back to pre-acquisition levels. Do we think it'll go back up if the WBD acquisition goes through?

TBH I'm asking because I have LTIP shares I'm trying to unload. My fault for not doing it in September/October.

Free at last

Sold the rest of my stock yesterday. Finally my liberation day from Oxy. Wish I could say the last six years of holding this paper was fun but it wasn't. Lots of luck with new management and I hope the stock price doesn't drop back into the 40's any time soon...

REAL cause of the stock rally

what we are witnessing is the closest thing to an ENRON fiasco !!

CEO and board colluded to artificially bump the stock up using the 20 BILLION $ buy back....money we actually can't earn anymore from the market ....and selling AI hype !!!

compute will NOT take off....auto is low margin cr-p....nothing will replace apple business....and what do they do ? they spend every last dime on bumping the stock...

nice more buying those 125k call options as well...they literally are bumping the stock and making money off the shorts squeeze !!!

i wish they put more time in actually building a better company that capable employees would wanna work for long term !

The Math of Shares or Stock Benefits

Every year Oracle used to pay its employees through Stocks and Less raise (2-5% in salary)
Usually this amounts from 100-300 for people joined and 30-100 for refreshments.
Lets go through the math:
Oracle uses "SELL-TO-COVER" concept in stock where 35-40% of stock is taken to cover the taxes. So if I get 100 stocks, you finally have 60 stocks in your bucket.
So if you get refreshment of 30 stocks, the actual count you are getting is 18.

Total Stock Granted -> In Hand -> Total Cost Basis
325 -> 195 -> $29,500.00 / year
300 -> 180 -> $27,000.00
250 -> 150 -> $22,500.00
200 -> 120 -> $18,000.00
150 -> 90 -> $13,500.00
100 -> 60 -> $9,000.00
50 -> 30 -> $4,500.00
30 -> 18 -> $2,700.00 / year

There will be additional tax on top of the Total cost basis like Capital Gain and Gain taxes if you withdraw in an year.

This stock is just a cover up for the low salary Oracle is paying to its employees.
Oracle also forfeits this stocks when it does a massive layoff which means it is paying in pennies compared to other high tech companies.

Dividend vs employee pay

Curious perspective: The company has all but ki-led chances of promotion with this new approach to business approval for increase of an individuals grade. You need to have some serious power behind you now if you want that next pay grade - GOOD LUCK! Seemingly, at the same time there appears to be a lock down on performance of wealth, the executives down to directors/RLT receive stock as part of their performance, and not that ridiculous new VCIP rule that you just about can't cash in because they're rolling people out through the night, but a spot bonus as a result of their grade. Dividends are being paid out at a huge sum, while alot of the stock is owned by the uppers who none of us ever see. It's almost as if the money is moving to individuals through the stock attraction of high dividend. I admit, I'm not economist but why are we do eager to pay out the high rate when we are still struggling to get our cost per barrel down?

EH is highly regarded

EH will be fired within a year. He came in with more good will than anyone. Employees were ripe for change, and even serious sacrifices. He has squandered that. His tenure will only be known for devastating cuts, backward thinking, and the worst stock performance in more than a decade. Ceding China and Digital will be seen as complete dunderheaded moves when those are the biggest growth areas. Divesting from Tech, when that is what enables innovation in this century. Offshoring and outsourcing jobs when that could not be more politically and culturally toxic. He's had more than 2 years and things are almost inconceivably worse than could be imagined.

intel improvement is fraudulent - possibly a stock scam

'Under the August 2025 deal, the Trump administration agreed to purchase 433.3 million Intel shares at $20.47 per share, equal to about a 9.9% stake, valued at around $8.9 billion, funded largely by previously awarded but unpaid CHIPS Act and Secure Enclave grants.

According to Bloomberg, those 433.3 million Intel shares owned by taxpayers are now worth a staggering $36 billion, netting taxpayers a $27 billion paper gain.'

funded by yet again US debt
a paper gain
expect more layoffs since the improvement was fake

Boots to have an IPO.

So it appears that Stefano's Boots chain is being spun off and will have an IPO. Don't know when this will happen as the article was paywalled, but I guess this is/was part of Mr. P's plans to regain his losses? I wonder if this would have any effect on Walgreens, or nothing since they're separated now.

Cognizant to lay off 10-15% of US workforce

Cognizant plans to lay off 10-20% of their USA workforce in the next 6 - 8 weeks. They are forcing every business unit — Even profitable revenue generating ones — to cut their workforce to move over to India or bring in lower level talent. HR was blind-sided by this and has very little info so it’s clearly coming from Ravi or Surya. They are trying everything to get the stock back up, so why not blindside the workforce right after being named a great place to work. Yeah right.
