Did we notice a pattern here in all tech layoffs ? lot of 1-3 year experienced who got joining stocks or stocks at executive range are thrown out. Same happened with Oracle and now with Meta.
We all know Oracle was faking around the hikes and promotions with just 2 words: Longevity and Stocks. Both are gone now.

Now I'm jobless. Thanks Intuit. I turned down another offer to join here. What an amazing thank you you gave me. Also, fu-k you.
What's going on here? Is this just my group or a wider pattern?
I know there are certain pockets out there seeing layoffs but I don’t see anything major coming this year
Anyone hear any whisperings about the fate of the PDX office? Something seems off lately.
And it will happen soon. CharlieFart and Ikene want us GONE. Hope my parachute opens before the impact occurs but it probably won't, with all of this IM nonsense. We're all circling the bowl over here
Have there been any changes since the last time?
Do we know yet how bad today's gonna be?
Any idea which areas and how many?
Major shake up coming across Enterprise Partnerships in the near future. Expect to be impacted in one way or another.
If you are impacted or know somebody who is, please drop your org and (if you know) years of service.
People are really on edge lately about the ranking/layoffs.
Employees look at each other as competitors as we walk around campus.
People feel compelled to speak up in meetings to state the obvious in an effort to show their knowledge.
It is really awkward.
What other stupid observations have you seen?
When are the ranking sessions? When are all ranking sessions completed?
The cuts amount to about 10% of the company's workforce.
Singapore-based workers were the first to learn their fate, with layoff emails arriving at 4 a.m. local time, according to Bloomberg. Employees in the U.K. and the U.S. were slated to be informed as their own mornings began. Meta asked North American employees to work from home Wednesday
Is there any one who hasn't received the severance agreement yet? I ask bcos a number of people have received it.
I am one of the impacted associates . Was promoted earlier this year then suddenly let go. Two weeks later, I’m still stuck in my room dealing with constant depression and anxiety.
How is everyone else coping with the sudden change . I clearly didn’t see this coming , falsely assume my rockstar status insulated me

Of course, Cisco is going all in on AI
Significant changes to Collab
How many years do you think we have until everyone is replaced with AI ?
So many great contractors here at Intuit - curious what will happen or how CW have been impacted during prior layoffs. I think it's safe to assume many will not get their contracts renewed.
Former Meta Dublin.. How have teams been affected? Any teams in particular hit?
During the Q2 Town Hall, a question was asked about our strategy to replace commodity IT roles with external partners.
The answer was that we're moving to more of a factory model of labor, and we're going to reduce the need to have specialized 3M knowledge.
Between that and the other half of the town hall being about how we need to scale up our use of AI, it's clear that they're looking to reduce headcount.
When will we know when our IFP roles end? I thought we would find out today morning as WARN notice.
Does anyone know or has heard if there are changes to the severance package this year or recently?
