Leave Verizon and save yourself ( Mass resignation)

This company is literally thinking it can operate the daily works and tasks much easily without employees. Leadership doesn't care about employees. When there is no value to employees then what is the reason behind working here. Need mass resignation.

A shift I've noticed

It used to be formal layoffs with packages were the only thing to worry about. Now they're moving toward firing people individually. I personally know three people let go for reasons that made no sense. One had fine reviews but was told their performance was poor. Really? I hope they talk to a lawyer.

Summary of the layoff Cycle reported by AI

The multi-wave timeline clarifies the structural pattern Oracle follows:
August 31, 2025 Layoff: Accounted for as a $402 million localized surge in Q1 FY26 (reported September 2025).
March 31, 2026 Layoff: Accounted for as an $823 million localized surge in Q4 FY26 (reported yesterday, June 10, 2026).
The Result: The accumulation of these massive structural waves is what compiled the overall $2.1 billion restructuring footprint, leaving the remaining ~$980 million reserve sitting clean on the books to fund the upcoming FY2027 phases.

When an accountant be CEO, that's the flag for layoff

lost a lot of small businesses, too focused on hardware/POS machine.
When bring a CEO with engineering background, he is just talk everything about devices, no one care about service, lost a lot of small businesses.
then new CEO with accountant background, everyone known --- layoff is coming.

The big boss "san francisco" is bleeding... that's the way is.

Willing to Help

Hi - I was laid off in a previous round of cuts and landed another job after 6-8 months during which I took some time to sit, process, and be present with my family. I'm willing to connect with anyone affected in this latest round to see if I can help in any way. Please post here, and, if there's sufficient interest, I will work to find a way to get in touch.

How do I convince leadership to let me go back to my old role?

How do I convince leadership to let me go back to my old role/team instead of laying me off? I have been moved around to so many times in the last few years, I’d really like to go back to what I was doing prior to all the re-org’s. Also, does anyone know if HR will offer a lower position in another are vs. laying someone off? I really don’t want to get laid off (despite all the trolls on this site) and willing to take a lower job.

Chances for internal mobility after 6/10 layoff?

I was hit with my 2nd layoff in two years today. I finally thought I had a foundation for recovery and it was an illusion. I’ve applied to hundreds of jobs before this one. I’m still exhausted from the previous job search. I’m desperately looking for a role, any role at this point inside the organization to stay employed. I’m applying internally and externally. Any advice? To make matters worse, I was served with an eviction summons trying to catch up from the last layoff today. Just my luck.

Personality Hire

You all should consider it. I have never seen a more miserable (and slightly r@cist) group of people and I’m certain your charming personalities really shine at work. Have you ever considered being enjoyable to be around? If you hate Wells Fargo so much please just leave - go find something you actually enjoy! Create something new! You have free will! Layoffs happen and they su-k and I’m glad that we at least get severance - but some of yall should be fired for just being a pain in the a-s. No one will miss you when you’re gone.
