Mercenaries??
So we are mercenaries if we prefer to work from home? He didn't even answer the question that was asked and then said we are an in-person company. No we aren't. Haven't been for awhile but gotta get those mercenaries into the office so we don't waste money on all our corporate real estate. No issue with coming into the office a few days a week but to call us mercenaries is a ludicrous thing to say. Do better Rick.

Why did all FTE not get yesterday’s email? Multiple on my team had no idea what the lot of us were talking about. Not that it wasn’t just a pathetic excuse for “transparency”.

What is the DX team? Being in sales I find this group as middleware. They have no knowledge and skill sets and pass all opportunities over to the groups that do the work. I was just on a call the other day and I almost lost the deal because of this group!!!!!!stop selling your bloated and expensive services that bring no value to our customers!

GPDS is very beauracratic and not aligned with buisness
In townhalls, people keep complaining about GPDS. Leadreship talks about GPDS replacement. But GPDS keep getting fatter and keeps adding more non-value work on engineers.

ANZ content bloodbath
So we here in the colonies have lost pretty much our entire schools publishing and content team. The rationale is that global content can be mediated to local curriculum requirements. This is patently untrue. The ANZ market for secondary school material is seriously insular, and anything that is not created by local writers will be looked on as second rate nonsense. They are moving us to the Pearson model, which as anyone who knows our market will attest is doomed to failure.
The best bit of this though is the fact that we only found out about this via a: people who had already been dumped but still had relationships with those canned and b: the actual email that went out was addressed only to the team who were mostly already being canned. There has been no messaging to the rest of the ANZ team despite us working closely with most of those involved over many years.

I recently attended an event where members of the sales team expressed concerns that the new art style feels disconnected from our established financial identity. No raise for 2026?
I have been working at The Bank for over a year now so this is my first time being eligible for a raise. I started in August 2024. Did anybody else not get a raise? I’m trying to understand if it’s just me or is it something that is quite common at The Bank. I’ve never not received a raise at my previous companies. Your input will help. Sending an employee survey the day after massive layoffs is so tone deaf and par for this company. No point in even filling them out as it’s obvious senior leaders don’t care.

Bonus % - Partially Achieved
Been with the company 10 years and received exceeded a majority of the time (8/10 reviews). To my absolute shock I have received a partially achieved. It looks like bonus payout is anticipated to be around 100% per today’s email - what can I expect for partially achieved? 50%? Lower? Thank you.

IM Rating Dispute
Has anyone completed a dispute with their rating or does it matter if they've picked you to be next for the cut? Similar situation as others here with great ratings all previous years, even midyear, with no negative feedback until the year end review. Feedback is vague and actually contains false information.
New Hire, IM Performance Review
Basically title. Hired mid 2025 and had my review with me receiving an IM. All commentary in the review did not support an IM but here we are.
Anyways, there are two people who report to my bosses boss and they definitely received an “exceeds” on their review.
Do both these things add up to me getting an IM? Should I be worried for mid year or is this standard WF practice?

VZ AI is zero help
If Dan's plan is for AI to take over, I hope it is nothing compared to the current use of AI. Every time I call or chat I have to go through AI. By the time I get to a human, I am pi---d off because the way they have AI set up is garbage, useless and a waste of time. Why do we purposely put barriers in place to get something resolved? No wonder customers are upset.
