Ethics and Compliance

Interesting that the entire Dell Ethics and Compliance page has been disabled. Also, the page for reporting ethics violations about people to a third party (“anonymously”) goes to a 404 Error page. I guess ethics don’t matter any more at Dell. No way to report ethics violations. Gotta protect those leaders!

Prioritize your family everybody

I read a comment saying someone was told by Fidelity that they were approved to move to take care of their ailing mother, and then Fidelity said “sike”. To the person in that predicament, I’m sorry Fidelity did this to you.

I read a rumor that Fidelity employees may only need to come to the office once a week once again instead. I say RUMOR because I’m unsure how truthful that is.

Regardless of the situation, whoever’s reading this, please don’t forget to spend time with your loved ones. Most of us come here to vent. And that’s ok. Just don’t forget to be around people who make your life meaningful.

That’s all. Have a good weekend. If you’re on the east coast, safe during the incoming snow.

Stay quiet if you know what's good for you

Pointing out issues or problems is a surefire way to get marked as a troublemaker. The response of those above you - in my experience but others as well - is never to address the issue, but to punish the messenger. Needless to say, HR is not your friend in this process, so you end up being sc--wed over for trying to fix things. Just don't bother.

Neutral Reference Policy and Recruiters

These damn recruiters keep insisting on manager references and I keep telling them they won't provide a reference.

How have folks circumvented this? I'm in a catch-22 where I can't give them a reference, yet they keep insisting it's necessary, no matter how many times I tell them to go to theworknumber.com.

I've had to dig out references from years back from people who no longer work at WF, but that's slim pickings.

Zero trust

Pretty bad when a company doesn’t trust its own employees, managers, senior directors that everything is monitored—-in excel lol

Yes, excel spreadsheets! lol sometimes even MS Forms.

Let’s suffocate the employees and ridicule their every move then wonder why the business is failing. People who micro manager have no business as managers, more so, no business as a director, senior director, especially the VP positions. All this goes to deaf ears. Let’s make another “anonymous” employee survey.

Check out the National Labor Relations Act

Ex-Schwabbie here. If you are dissatisfied with work conditions, pay, treatment from leadership I would highly encourage you to check out the NLRA. It gives private sector non-supervisory employees the right to discuss such issues on social media, teams, a huddle, or even a screen saver. These are rights guaranteed regardless if you are part of a union or not. Check out the definitions of concerted activity. You have the right to bring up these questions and concerns to your leaders. If they retaliate then you have yourself a very strong legal case. Retaliation includes your work (phone calls) being more scrutinized than that of your peers. There is a reason Schwab doesn't train you on the NLRA.

IM & NI rating and regulators

It sounds like A LOT of IM & NI are being given out this year and from what I'm hearing, not for any real reason. But how is this going to look to the regulators, when the majority of team members have sh---y ratings? Maybe it's not an issue? I'm genuinely curious. If I was a regulator looking at risk or compliance and half the team has sh---y ratings, you'd think that make the "firm" look bad? Maybe not, just curious.

SPTO in quarterly increments?

In my time with the company, the SPTO bid has always been around November. We could request our scheduled time off for the whole 12 months of the upcoming New Year. We work in a site that is closing. They are only allowing us to schedule in quarterly increments. So far we've only been able to schedule through the end of March. Is this an indication the site we work in is closing this year in 2026? We are sorry to ask here, but nobody talks about it at work.

RemainCo Town Hall

Here is what I heard from today`s Town Hall:

  • EBIDTA is at a great level (90% of the employees doesn`t care, or have no idea what that is.)
  • We should be very happy for the shareholders, as they will receive a min. 10$ divident / share.
  • How nice that the colour of the 2 logos are matching.
No mention of the employees, when will they advise on leadership, new responsibilities, or just acknowledging the frustration we have. At least they should say they are working on it and will be shared soon, or giving some justification for the hold up.

Check your 401k

Edward Jones made a change at year end to investment choices in the 401k.

While Suzan and her s$@t HR function did the bare minimum to communicate these changes through the 401k provider (Empower), it was buried under annual disclosures and most of home office and the field were caught completely unaware that the company made new investment choices on their behalf (Really great precedent for a company managing CLIENT investments, right!?).

Not sure I am surprised at all given the character of this company and its leaders, but just a friendly reminder to be sure to check on your 401k.

Employees say Hayden Beverage layoffs begin, last day set for Feb. 8

Layoffs are underway at Hayden Beverage, a beverage distributor with locations across Idaho and Montana, according to employees who spoke anonymously. One worker said they received a one-month severance package and were told their last day would be Feb. 8. Employees described the news as unexpected, noting the company had generally treated them well. Another employee said the layoffs come after Hayden Beverage was acquired by Summit Beverage, a purchase later confirmed by a company official.

Employee Reviews

The lack of transparency on this is outrageous. The amount of people that need to approve just one review is excessive and adds weeks of unnecessary delay to an already slow process.

Why do you need 3 people to approve 1 review when there is limited salary increase, lack of promotions and no morale?

Anyone actually call ethics hotline before ?

Have a situation and have not had annual review yet, but pointed out unethical, immoral and possible illegal acts of our executive to my manager and their one up manager late in year.... sent via email and of course nothing was responded to in writing but called me back via teams and was told to never send something like that via email again..

I think I might be rewarded with inconsistantly meets or do not meets because of these actions...

Anyone have any experience reporting something like this?

CEM ie ServiceNow is just a busy tool.. Does anybody else forced to use this??

The CEM tool in ServiceNow is just something to keep you busy and something you can get in trouble for if you don't enter your time. They use it under the guise of wanting to know what you're working on. But when you're assigned to one customer and bill your time in GPS against that customer, you know what I'm working on. The kicker on this tool is that you can't show more than 40 hours in a week against it. God forbid you actually show real hours you work, then there might be a lawsuit to pay management overtime!! It's just a time waster, and honestly, they don't track it. I didn't hear any issues until the end of the year, when I had a gap in time on the tool.

Want the public to know the Real DXC

You all can post on this site every minute of every day and it won’t make a difference.

You want the public The analyst? that rate DXC n the financial markets to know what’s really is going on with. moral , non-existence merit pay increases

Then hit them where it will be seen , Pist in their social media posts, Linkedin in etc.

I have an am starting to get a lot more likes (people stepping up) than I did 2 years ago.

Also if you hate your employer so much , why are you still there, afraid to get another Job , don’t have the skills required, comfortable (i was and stayed 13 years with 2 pay increases)

Thank you customers and supporting cast

I am sending warm holiday greetings and a big hug to all of our customers and managers like the HR leader helping us on this board. You have been with us and donated time and comments to help us. Some customers also hit them in their pocket book to stand with us. I am a single mom who feels disrespected and totally frightened and your help is really gratifying and loved by us all. Happy holidays to all of you who stand with us! I saw a nice email from the CEO wishing us happy holidays and it was nicely written. Maybe the grinch’s heart is warming and the changes we need in the changing of bad leaders will come in January. I am hoping for that more than anything.

If you sale your soul to ruin other lives

What’s the point of anything?

Did this post somehow catch your eye?

Is it making you stop to think? Feeling the need to comment?

Does it resonate with you some way?

Moral compromises?

Are you lying to yourself?

Deep down, gut feeling, do you know you are doing something wrong?

No fear of what is to come next?

Remember we are but a blip on the timeline.

Looks like you made it this far.

Maybe this post is the reminder or push you need to turn around your soul rot.

Is your soul rotting at U.S. Bank?
