I'm curious what type of communication was sent to employees about the exit and new CEO. Hopefully they have an all hands and give reassurance.

acid test for new ceo
if the new guy schedules an all-hands this week And includes at least some assurances that he’ll treat us like actual human beings, there’s a chance he could be a good leader.
If he doesn’t, then he’s an axe man who wants to get rid of as many of us as possible
How many people ask annonymous questions during All Hands or Organizational All Hands which never get answered?
Just curious how many people are asking hard questions which don't get answered. I know I keep posting things, but since they are difficult, they aren't answered even if no other questions are out there and there is time to answer them.
We all know that NetApp gatekeeps questions, I'm just wondering how much.
Similarly with Survey's everything is always in the 70's 80's but looking through the comments shows a vastly different picture.
Take your PTO NOW
They have been pushing team members in the most recent all hands meetings to take their PTO and time off. I have never heard such a push for this from leaders. I have been with the company over 7 years now, and there’s never been mention of taking your PTO like this.
So, take your PTO NOW before you lose it to this transition.
Bumping this for important info, the OP is @a2+1ksqvmzt4.
Q4 RIFs
A new RIF appears to be in the works. VPs and above are holding all-hands meetings with Samantha at The Ridge in mid-July. With the ongoing Frontier integration, major reorganizations are expected, along with anticipated RIF activity beginning in Q4. This is expected to be a significant shake-up affecting employees across all bands.
Wellmed all hands meeting?
Please provide what was discussed. Not all Wellmed folks were invited . Managers are nowhere to be found and my whole team is having computer issues.
All Hands keep getting cancelled?
Anyone else finding their All Hands from Director, VPs, SVPs keep getting cancelled for this month? Getting a bit worried here. Fusion. Must mean a re-org or more layoffs given how often it’s happening.
PMI All Hands On Call
Anyone else on this complete waste of time call wondering if they will ever actually address the REAL concerns were having... (ie job security, layoffs, etc)
Global reminder GM will speak on Thursday morning

May 21 Town Hall Recording Was Edited?
Did anyone else notice this? The session went on for about an hour. The recording is 40 minutes long.
Noticeably missing: some of Hamid's comments about corporate taxes and how to best handle the $40 billion windfall from spectrum sales, Hamid's comments about how the "rich guys" benefit from certain tax practices, and most notably, that kind of joke question about whether we'd see any part of that sale in our 401Ks (and Hamid's response that he'd have to see it in his 401K first).
Did anyone else notice this, or am I going crazy? Did they actively edit out the more tone-deaf and uncomfortable parts of that session?
Here we go again!
Another round of Allstate Asks where Zulfi tells us that they want to know what we think, but then they complain (and target you) if we don't give them the answers that they want.
Not sure the boys club from Intel are cutting the mustard!
No wonder they are at Lenovo, Intel didn’t want them! All Hands was a sh-t show!
leaders in my org required 4 days/wk RTO
just had an all hands. VP announced that all leaders now must RTO 4 days/wk. hasn't trickled down to ICs yet but we all know it's a matter of time. and if you have been remote and don't live anywhere near an office? tough luck, I guess that means you can no longer serve your job requirements and will be let go.
this makes no sense because it's not like our entire team will be in the same office anyway even if we went full RTO. we'll all just be in different offices across the country.
All hands meeting
Anything good come out? Unable to attend..

A lot of baseless rumours have been posted here. You must be said after today's all hands
All Hands 4/22
Hour long meeting full of insults. The idea that working in office will foster conversation and innovation is, as someone else has said, a fat load of kwap. There are SO many reasons for why this isn't going to go well on the 4th, but I don't want to beat a dead horse.
I'm just tired, man.

RIF in Tech Org
An all hands invitation was sent out this morning for April 1
GP and WP leaders on it and I hope that they have some information to share instead of an hour of word salad slop.
Engineering collaboration - All hands TLDR
Here is the rundown:
Moving to a 'open contribution' model. Near 100% adoption of AI across the company.
Moving to an 'AI first' mindset. Ty Thorsen (SVP) announcing new 'AI transformation' team to force the use of AI across the board for all engineers.
Still have no growth strategy, just directions and empty promises, AI is taking over increasing burnout, you know what that means...
Moving fast fast fast and faster, more speed more acceleration more efficiency, aiming higher doing better bigger goals yap yap yap typical corporate jargin bla bla bla be excited about company growth (dont ask for more pay)
Karlheinz wurm could not pronounce 'cost', kept saying 'co-k'
Overwhelming negative feedback in the Q&A about RTO.
The anonymous questions are funnily brutal, the top voted one:
"As an office-first organization, shouldn’t all the leaders on this call be present at their main collaboration sites?"
Ty Thorson (SVP) """"answers"""" RTO concerns:
'While individuals might be more productive at home, teams are more productive working together in person" holy cope
"we are not the only ones doing this..." slap to the face
"Were leading this with a carrot, not with a stick. We are hoping the people will appreciate coming into the office for their team" trying to blame YOU for their bad decisions
Then they start blatently deleting all of the tough-to-answer RTO questions. Absolutely comical as more and more people ask "Why are you deleting RTO questions". So much for being a transparent company.
The rest of the questions are sidestepped and doesnt really answer anything, typical corporate vetted PR talk around the use of AI and how its going to change the world.
Constantly reciting the absolutes, like "all", "most of", "best", "must", "fully", "completely" etc.
People are asking some really brutal questions now, example:
"Someone deleted the question??? Please have all leaders show who is currently in the office if we are to believe you are leading by example"
They keep deleting questions rapid-fire.
Atmosphere gets tense.
No actual questions answered.
"I see concerns about topics like RTO, please message xyz if you feel this way"
"Will we compensate people for gas and time lost coming into the office? Thats not part of Cisco's policy its your responsability to take care of that" lol thanks lets create a problem and expect you to pay for it
The questions in Slido get REALLY heated now, moderation is working overtime deleting messages. More and more questions on compensation not increasing with inflation.
Out of all the leadership speakers, only 4 were in the office.
Everyone couldnt even come into the office to give a talk about returning to the office.
Great lead by example.
The rest of the meeting was a big nothingburger.
It cannot be any clearer how dogshit current leadership is.
If you havent quiet quit by now, this is your signal.
Different kind of CTO Townhall
This townhall stood out from the usual scripted updates—it felt more real, direct, and intentional. Instead of just showcasing achievements or high-level strategy, this one leaned into transparency, addressing ground realities. The tone was more candid and less corporate, which made the message land better. It didn’t feel like a one-way presentation; it felt like a reset—aligning everyone on priorities, expectations and the need to execute better. Overall, it felt like a signal that leadership is aware, engaged, and possibly gearing up for change.
