I left SLB last year during layoffs. Heard from current inmates at SLB that SAP X2 went live which is so bad in UK that one of the Product Centre will be closed if they don't get their act together. Is this true?

Last year got an offer from SLB. Background check, dr-g test all passed. Instructed by SLB HR, I gave my previous employer a 2-week notice. Right before the start date, SLB notified me they rescinded the offer. I was left unemployed.
