Thread regarding Schlumberger Ltd. layoffs

Oil and Gaslit

Would anyone here be interested in reading my Wordpress blog on the ramifications of SLB’s false layoff narratives against wrongfully terminated employees during Covid in 2020? Just curious as to how many of you were (as their attorney denies it being “black-balled”) and the lack of accountability due to workflow procedures set by the company itself? I will describe how I was privately seeded; slandered and demoralized by an employee that still works there and pegged by an astronomical invoice (of his wrongdoing), planted for 5 months to take the fall following a vulnerable time of losing a parent. The object isn’t to shame the company. The object is to show you how I have overcome the harsh reality that women are exceptionally vulnerable in the oilfield and perhaps show you that we absolutely do not have a thick skin to work in an environment that enables this bogus portrayal in the name of “Connect Women”. It’s false construct preys of that fact that harassment can come in many forms and if you say anything about it, you are deemed one that cannot roll with the punches at all no matter how they categorize your position or how many shifts and balances they perform. Let me know! I would love to hear the feedback even if it’s all hate! I’ll keep you posted on my launch date!

Can you tell me both of yours and other people's stories if you know them? I'm trying to move past my own trauma from SLB and the outside arena is so full of people with boxing gloves on. People are so quick to snap and call you every name in the book instead of stopping and pausing a moment to actually look and say well, maybe this did happen? You can offer them your phone and they turn into Stevie Wonder grabbing that cane and saying naw man I can't see shiiiii. Maybe you need glasses?

“Why not just quit playing the victim, chalk it up to experience, and move on with your life a better person instead of growing more bitter by the day.”

This is why women don’t belong in the oilfield. They bring the entire company down with their mental bull$h1t. They are all just too sensitive and have no thick skin. This is why women who suffer from narcissistic abuse grow to be such bitter women. They all just need to know their place in the kitchen and stay out of the field. Right? Is this what you really mean tough guy?

I doubt it. The Moore facility in Oklahoma got plenty of fair warning that their positions were being eliminated, why not mine? Only mine was eliminated bc I caught onto a lie about materials and money? Hmmm okay.

The way the OP was treated, was, and is, NO different (other than being s**ually harassed), than a male employee, who has failed to kiss azz, OR has come to realize that most corporate policy is complete buell sheet.

I think posting my TikTok video skits would be ultimate. It really shows the reality of what we have to endure as women in the oilfield. Not only se-----y, but mentally. Perhaps women should find another line of work because having a thick skin in order to roll with the punches is not going to work anymore and I will prove why!

@1hhl+1fKRN6fN Actually “they” got pegged. There was no change order placed because the employee called the vendor up after the fact and changed the order verbally without saying anything to anyone but the vendor and perhaps the manager. PS- The company is well aware of my publication on the matter. Their hillbilly investigations went all around it but funny how they have all these procedures to prevent it. Go figure I would lose my job because I was doing my job. Wait until you find out how they did it!
