They will adapt. China can copy pretty much anything these days.
The Western companies will simply form "shell companies" and continue operating as 'normal'.
Halliburton was rumoured to have done this, in order to continue operating in Iran, and I remember looking at some equipment in the yard in Dubai, and being told that it was being sent to "wink, wink", the country on the other side of the gulf..
They will be fine. The world is full of oil personnel and companies.
If they run and maintain their services like their laughable tanks..........they are royally screwed.
