I stumbled upon this forum by chance and the amount of negativity here is amazing. I agree with some posts I’ve read that some things here aren’t really good, but c’mon, it’s not all that bad either. If Schlumberger was the only company I ever worked for, I might even believe that this is the worst of all companies. However, when I compare this and the companies I worked for before, there is nothing much worse here. I don't understand why people complain so much but do not take the responsibility to find a better place for themselves? No, I do not intend to provoke nor am I from the management, but I am just sorry too see how many individuals live in ideals and think that some company out there will care for them much more than this one.

Um who's this brown noser?! Youre right ny previous job was bad. The only difference was the other place compensated nicely to keep the people who tolerate their cr-p. Not these guys
Thanks for your input Olivier.
The problem is that manager have less expert on job that u r doing review your work. How worthy that review is???
Of course if you are well viewed by the management, part of the SLP-4 list and/or the high risk list, you won’t think it’s bad at SLB. But that’s the problem. A small group of employees is highly paid and viewed well while the rest is mistreated. That’s why I quit. I could not accept to have a low pay anymore and no raise for 4 years while someone on my group at the same level was making almost double my salary because he was well viewed by the management.
which cheerleader is this then?
a recently promoted box ticker or a long serving part of the furniture?
Come on guys let's send him that 'special' bonus that comes the week before Christmas for every year of service.
