I doubt that SLB can do anything anymore to keep the best people. Or can it?

im not worried about it...........anyone else??
The ‘hire and fire’ model SLB subscribes to is outdated and built upon the premise that there will always be a steady stream of new young talent coming onto the market. There isn’t anymore. The top young talent doesn’t want to work O&G and no amount of money will change their minds on that.
will be even worse early months of next year. many more to leave.
youll get the usual cling-ons waiting for there undeserved PIP no doubt, but most are decided to leave the place to the dinosaurs and deluded.
Company needs an exciting vision to attract top talent.
Entrenched management has not come up with such a vision so they created a New Energy division and put an entrenched management dinosaur in charge.
Management is entrenched at all of the service companies, they view everyone else as easily replaceable regardless of talent or experience. Constant layoffs and attrition is the new normal.
FMPC has lost so many great people over the past several months it’s concerning. Management doesn’t seem to care at all. I don’t understand the logic behind allowing your best and brightest to leave with no effort to retain. Oh well.
Does management really care about who stays and who goes? I think not, especially since NONE of them will ever be leaving, UNLESS they get a better offer, with more perks, from another company.
You should not worry about it because it’s only going to get worse. The top management with their high salary and pension plan is disconnected from reality. They think we forgot about the way they treat employees, laying off non stop to achieve the quarterly objectives.
Don't worry about this company, take care of yourself and leave.
