Has anyone else had difficulty in getting their 20 years service award watch? Mine is already a year overdue and HR seems to have run out of excuses.

If you read about the program when the company announced this, Rolex was the one who terminated this program. Google it, it’s not just Slb. Rolex is no longer participating in ANY corporate award program, and this was all explained in the notifications. Rolex is a trust not for profit. When they make enough watches in the year to cover their costs, they are done for that year.
I’m not management, and think Slb has gone woke and not a fan, but let’s at least be honest when we can and get the correct facts.
I got mine earlier this year, it was 28 months late
HR told me that Rolex are no longer included in the catalog due to supply issues. Sounds suspect to me. Basically Rolex have no watches to sell ... WTF
Alternatives are Omega and Breitling
Anyone else getting offered Rolex right now?
I was do a watch Q4 2020 both HR people I have talked to are no longer here...won't place I have ever worked.
My watch is 17 months overdue. I chose the model some time ago and all I get from my manager or HR is a load of nonsensical chatter. Just how many people are waiting for watches and ill bet my last dime that managrment 36get their watches on time.
I'm retired from Seismic now, but I was due to get a watch at SLB, I even chose the model.
But there was some delay or other, then I got laid off and no watch! The exact same thing
happened to another colleague. So another dastardly management/HR swizz!
Service Awards are paid for out of YOUR particular Cost Center's budget. Maybe that manager has no money allocated for awards? Try asking your Cost Center Manager about your award instead of HR.
I am sorry to hear this but I am not surprised. They are probably trying to figure out how to remove this perk for good.
You just need to watch for it....
Your watch is ticking....
I know the feeling :-(
