Based on recent media coverage of Meta tracking laptop activity and taking screenshots to train the AI to replace the people it is tracking, does anyone know of this sort of thing in Dell?

Seems our colleagues in Europe can ask under law and be told but not sure if anyone would or has done this.

What are your thoughts on the new Executive Director of IT Information Security, Corp Security Ops? Given the current leadership structure, it is worth questioning if this was a strategic move or just more corporate bloat.

A few points:
• Qualifications: Does his background actually align with the technical demands of the role, or is this another "style over substance" appointment?
• Redundancy: We already have an EVP/CISA and a VP Governance & Compliance in this department. Why was an Executive Director position necessary?
• Value Add: Is this role going to drive real security initiatives, or are we just funding another high-level salary to churn out monthly PowerPoint decks?

Does this seem like a genuine effort to strengthen our infrastructure, or is it just a waste of company resources?

Do you think there will be layoffs in Information Security - we do have a few jobs open right now which leads me to believe they are not planning to lay off here but you never know.

I noticed in the grand new update they just released one of the programs newly installed is Impero Connect Host. This means they can monitor your screens in real time without notifying you.

Nike let us keep our phones when we got laid off. I tried to wipe it today and was met with it still be registered as part of Nike's mobile device management. Does anyone know if this is intentional or the best way to ask Nike to remove it?
