People are getting cut this month in a division here, rumor I heard was if 3M keeps it below 50 a month they don't have to announce it publicly or notify the state? I have not heard of anyone in my division getting cut.

rumor is a potential 25% reduction in headcount at legacy BD/ADx. does anyone have any details?

Just wondering if they are finished with the laid offs? I haven’t heard anything in my work area for the last few days. Thanks.

Announcing in april & gone in 60 days. Worry if your not in a hub. Doesnt matter how much you sacrifice to the co. mostly has to do with your geography.

I just noticed that bunch of people left the chats, and they are not available any more.
Was there any layoff recently? How many people were cut?

If my boss isn't consulted on who to lay off, and my bosses boss isn't consulted then what's the point in doing any work day to day ?

I know there are too many articles and posts signaling the layoffs are going to happen tomorrow , i.e. 3/31. Since it’s just a day, anyone can confirm here if they got some hints or would get today. No trolls please! Asking genuinely. Will then balance out the work and backing up.

I've been watching the number closely, and it had been going up, but as of Saturday 3/28, 6:40 AM - down to 165,527. Around 1600 people less than the last time I looked.

What are the current betting odds that the April 15th all-company is to explain another mass layoff early in the month circa the mid-July 2024 “bloodbath”? Still no WARN notices I can find, but the timing right after Q1 and corporate jobs disappearing in every other industry does make one wonder.

The senior management is making final decisions on the USA wide H1-B elimination program. The political climate does not support the huge numbers of H1-Bs TCS has on the payroll.
Most H1-Bs will be eliminated.
