Thread regarding Truist Bank layoffs

CCGs?

What is a CCG? What information is Truist obtaining and creating a database for all to see? Is it true that they are harvesting my personal information and not safeguarding it but allowing all the employees to see it across the bank?

It’s Concerning that the bank is developing a database of personal information without disclosure to their client regarding: other accounts, personal goals, financial plans, account balances, etc. all being gathered and shared with all to see in the bank. Additionally there is no limits placed on what information can be gathered or shared and this information is not being held privately. This has stink all over it, it would not be good for publicity.

It’s your private conversation documented in detail between you and your personal banker and presented to many and available to all, without your consent. You think it’s a private conversation but the banker is mandated to follow and fill out these 180 questions, disposition 1-5 recommendations, fill in your outside Truist accounts with detail and write your life goals. Then other bankers in the Tri state region are goaled on calling you daily based on that information and it all goes on without your consent to collect or share this information and not knowing how it’s used.

Yes what use to be a paper guide is now electronic and the conversation between clients and their banker which was meant to be personal or private is now placed on the record for all to see in the bank. Under the pretense of having a conversation with a trusted advisor the client is being data mined and details of the interaction are documented without disclosure for others to see and offer products and services to the client based on the information obtained. There are no real limits on what can be placed in the record.

Years ago retail used something called a “customer conversation guide”. It was a tool to ensure bankers asked all the right stuff and was part of the customer records along with contacts, recommendations, history, etc. useful too for lots of reasons. I don’t think they were compiled and used for marketing purposes, just housed in the relationship management system for reference and coaching on discovery of customer needs. Might not be the same thing you’re referencing, but there was a thing called a CCG and possibly still is.
