I heard that lot of people left by applying to the last VSP and now many teams are understaffed

Getting WFRd in Germany is very different. You get to leave and not have to do your job but still stay on the books and get paid as usual for at least a year plus bonus etc (garden leave)
They are hastily getting rid of people all over the globe. Unless you talk to the actual people who are left, you'll never know the situation. Different groups; different situations.
It’s like being on the last line of a land battle: it’s still sh-t, but you’re among the last ones to get kicked in the a-s (thanks to local labour regulations).
