After 75% Red Badge Cut, CX is due for 15% Blue badge Cut in the next 4 weeks

As you all know 75% of teh contractors in CX were made redundant during the last 3 months. Most of it happened in the CX centres.
The latest is, CX is getting rid of all small accounts and they are keeping only what they call signature accounts. These are major SP accounts like AT&T,verizon, BT, TI, DT,Telstra etc.
The CX enterprise business is in a lot of trouble for a long time. So except for few strategic accounts like Microsoft, google, etc, CX is getting rid of all small accounts. Their plan is to manage such accounts through partners. This is a big shift that will happen in the next 12 months. As a primary step, they are planning to cut 15% of all blue badges in all theaters. They are planning to justify it with AI efficiency improvement and margin pressure. So Braze for it amigos.

Cutting AirMI is admitting defeat

I'm on GT.. we're a supporting function, cost center, I get it, we're going to be targeted for cuts. But airmi makes the actual product, don't they?

No growth company divests from producing its producing its actual main product. No amount of 'modernization' is going to make up for lost capacity from manpower, as I see it.

The real nightmare

Yes layoffs su-k, but coming back if we aren’t cut to the same bloated, toxic and clueless tech leadership is going to be brutal.
Not confident any meaningful cuts will happen at the tech leadership level. Will still be director reporting to director reporting to a couple layered sr dir under a couple of layered vp’s.

This is structural failure

We've been working under a regime of cuts and layoffs for so long, with no follow-through, no plan, that it feels like we've finally hit the breaking point. Not that I care anymore. When your own odds of getting cut in the near future are that high, why buy into the pressure to go above and beyond? I'm done.

Vote the board out

This is just a reminder to everyone that we have the ability to vote for or against the board members that deny us raises and approve the salaries and bonuses for the MC.

Use them. Later this year when the voting comes about USE YOUR VOTE. They won't pay attention to the TTUS but they certainly will pay attention when their shareholders start voting against them..

Does the NFL and Fernando Mendoza know how poorly USB treats employees?

No raises for thousands but keep millions for GK and her creepy MC? Cutting more and more benefits all the time? Worst RTO in the industry that shows they don’t care about families and work life balance? Failed corporate real estate strategy that creates enormous costs for people to commute multiple hours each way and thousands of them didn’t get raises? Shipping jobs out of America? Laying off thousands? Etc. This is the worst senior leadership team in the business.

Citibank: Statewide, 141 layoffs, effective multiple dates May–June

Did this already happen? What I mean by that is, were people already notified and their end dates are in May and June or is this something new that's about to take place?

Butler County's Board of Developmental Disabilities announced significant cuts. The agency plans to reduce staff by 24%, eliminating 31 positions. These measures, including a building transfer, will cut its budget by $8.4 million. Service demand has increased 400% since 2004, but the budget has remained unchanged. Cleveland Schools Apply Special Law to Mass Layoffs

The Cleveland Metropolitan School District is conducting its largest layoffs in years. A 2012 state law, House Bill 525, uniquely governs these decisions. This law requires the district to consider evaluations, licensure, and subject area, not just seniority. Approximately 410 employees, including 146 teachers, are being laid off. These cuts aim to address lower enrollment and budget deficits.

This is the new normal

I can't with people who say there were surprised by layoffs. How?? Layoffs have been a regular occurrence for years. Constant small cuts with several major rounds every few months. Where were you if you managed to miss this? I'm not saying it should be like this, but please, stop saying "layoffs happened out of nowhere."

Is Havas preparing to merge/sell?

Since Havas US layoffs in 2025, cuts to benefits have been brutal. Health insurance isn't nearly as good as before, vacation have been drastically reduced and talent is fleeing. Noone is being promoted from within and the agency isn't staffing up... instead inexperienced outside contractors are being engaged.

Is this a sign the company is preparing to merge or sell, reducing employees on the books and making itself extremely and painfully lean?

It won't be long before clients feel the pain leadership is extending across the agency and start to flee like valued talent. At this point, everyone is a flight risk.

Anchorage School District Cuts 56 Teaching Positions

The Anchorage School District announced the layoff of 56 teachers. This reduction accounts for about two percent of the district's nearly 3000 teachers. Superintendent Jharrett Bryantt stated these cuts are necessary due to insufficient state and local funding. A proposed one-time tax levy, intended to fund teacher positions, recently failed. Additionally, 203 teachers will be displaced, and the district is eliminating approximately 500 total positions.
