Next up Skunkworks layoffs

I’m at the skunkworks, and since the Doug news broke, the mood has shifted pretty noticeably. A lot of us feel like the clock is ticking. Once Farley’s out, we lose our last real advocate for keeping this operation in California, Alan Clarke aside, but Dearborn’s not going to fight for us. I’m expecting a mass exodus, and the wild part is they haven’t even finished the Long Beach construction. We all know what Blue Oval City represents, so nothing feels off the table right now.

L3 Harris infested with Russian spies

It looks like the FBI caught a manager at L3 Harris selling secrets to a Russian broker. This is one reason why there’s layoffs, some people at the company can’t keep secrets because they are overwhelmed by greed.
They didn’t catch everyone yet, and it is still an ongoing investigation. Maybe if the FBI catches everyone there won’t be any need for more layoffs in that section as it will be reduced enough.
The whole company needs a complete government security review.

Beware of the P.I.P! It's a trap!

Be aware that if your manager at L3Harris puts you on a PIP (Personal Improvement Plan) that they are planning to lay you off without a severance package.
You will make it through the designated time period, but there will be one caveat - they will be able to let you go at any time without any reason or justification.

Since L3Harris has shifted from growth to profits. Layoffs are common.

Following the most recent merger and the creation of the current company in 2019, L3 leadership has shifted from a growth oriented company that made strategic acquisitions into new businesses, to a purely profit driven entity. Perhaps the disastrous acquisition of AR was enough to make them g-n shy about buying any more companies. The entire focus is now on profits for investors or "stake holders". Having established that, it would seem foolish for any perspective job applicant to hope for a long term career with this company. Layoffs have become common place with no regard for talent or an individuals' contribution. Considering that and the blatant reverse discrimination practiced during its' failed "woke phase", it is no wonder the company is avoided like the plague by savvy job seekers.

Boeing won’t win the Navy NGAD

It was a long shot. They won F47, but winning both programs won’t happen. It’s too much risk for the DOD on a company that’s historically been late and over budget on most of the programs. The number of so-called analyst though who claimed Boeing has a good shot, I think it’s very misleading.
