Oh, come on. Even a broken calendar is right twice a year. You could say that every day and eventually, "you'll hit it". It's guaranteed. Like Groundhog Day.

I remember working with a Chinese associate sent to my Aero site (KS) to train how to do our jobs. There were a number of them, some good, some bad, and some I generally liked, too. The one I was in the best with said "You should know that in China, Honeywell is seen as the 'bottom of the barrell' for a company to work at." Then we chuckled together. See, you can suk to work at internationally. Forever.

Out with the old. Start salary an hourly employees. The new pay will be lower. The top pay grade will be lower. Which equals higher shareholder value.

If this doesn’t work, consolidate plants, and close down old ones. I can see us reaching $300 or higher in stock. Within a year or two. Elliott management who can bring shareholder value up.

Honeywell would never lay people off right before the holidays. That would be a heartless and terrible thing to do to the hard working people making Honeywell profit. Right? Right?!?

We’ll see what happened before the holidays. In order to get shareholder value up. There’s definitely gonna be cost cutting measures. I just don’t know when.

@ej I don't disagree at all about talking about politics (or religion) when at the office. But you sound like a typical HW mgt creep.

@br -- pretty common phrase. why do people immediately politicize everything. at least in my very large org this post is not factual. mind you... individuals who choose to waste company time on divisive speech and behaviors to the detriment of getting assigned work done will most certainly be talking with my managers about their performance improvement plan.
