Management Avoiding Benefits Reduction

Management keeps telling us we are all in this together and need to make sacrifices to make it through these times. Thats understandable and fair. But can someone please ask why EIP (Employee Incentive Program) bonuses were cancelled/delayed while... — read more

Class Action Lawsuit?

GAC kept us working while people had the Virus and gave us no protection. They said we were considered Essential. Since when is a brand new aircraft not even ever used yet essential? The only thing that was essential was GAC's profit. Then they use... — read more

Gulfstream Appleton Headcount

Does anybody have any statistics for the layoff up in Appleton: total number, departments hit, age of those affected, salary levels, official reason given by management, other interesting patterns?

Cash Cow

Gulfstream has been a cash cow for GD for many years. Seems they would be nuts to sell it, but they’ve never taken a hard look at the people running Gulfstream either, so who knows. They’ve largely stayed out of Gulfstream’s affairs since Gulfstream... — read more

Where are they?

When the foundation was laid, there were dynamic, even somewhat charismatic leaders in top management. They pushed their agenda for the company with an energy not seen in typical people. Me included. Agree with them or not, they had a personal... — read more

Why is it?

The overwhelming majority of companies are having just furloughs and are already getting ready to call people back and yet here we are with layoffs - as permanent as it can be. Why is that? Is Gulfstream certain it will not recover even after the... — read more

Criminal charges.

After all these years I can’t figure out why anybody in Gulfstream management was not brought up on criminal charges after the G650 crash. Anyone can read the NTSB crash report and see that negligence, motivated by greed, lead up to the conditions... — read more

What does it mean and why is it even being mentioned?

Use of real names...

Remember that post where someone mentioned looking up property records and sending their grievances to management? Well, assuming you share your real name here, and assuming you own property in the Savannah area, people could do the same to you, as... — read more

We need more transparency

We have no idea what's going on so we have to speculate and guess because the leadership of this company (and I use that term loosely) is either too scared to come out and say what's going on or they simply don't give a damn about what this is doing... — read more

SNEAKY

Correct me if im wrong, or i hope im not losing my mind. When i was called by HR they said i would be kept on until may 15. In my email separation letter it stated that my separation would be between the 15 and 20th. Today i got a hard copy of the... — read more

Meeting today

Rumor has it that all of the managers and higher ups were having a meeting this morning to determine whats going to happen with departments, if anyone else is getting cut, etc. Anyone here happen to hear the outcome of that meeting?

As Corrupt as they Come

Left a while ago, but really sad to see how much worse GAC got. A playground of managers playing favorites to the points of ruining billion dollar programs and losing talent thats hard to find. Not surprised to hear about whats going on at paint shop... — read more

How many gone so far?

WTOC news says 700. I believe that is just the number of permanent employees and doesn’t include contractors. That number seems low for the permanent employees as well.

More to come?

We have had only 3 people laid off in my building of about 120. Does anyone know if more is to come? Management says they don't know a thing. One of the guys that got laid off Friday was reportedly a good guy and had been here over 10 years. We... — read more

Record every call from GAC according to my lawyer

Lawyer told me to record any calls from GAC. No permission needed. They don’t need to be informed they are being recorded. Don’t use a lawyer in Savannah. They won’t be tough on GAC because they all know each other. Mine is in Atlanta.

Upper Management has no clue and are the ruin of GAC

WTOC says Gulfstream will not confirm lay-off
