Just curious if Gulfstream can post positions for which they just laid off . I’d hate to see my position on the board in a month or so

They will but wave off.
The rumor is if you were furloughed you will not be called back some of them need to stay gone.
I'm sure they will be.
I hated to go, and my manager hated losing me.
But I know the position will be coming back, probably within the next few months.
In the meantime I'll pick up something else that will give me the last couple of months experience I need to have another year under my belt, and if I go back I'll use that to return for more money.
The way I see it, there's no reason why this can't be both educational (good lesson in 'forget the company, what do I get out of it?') and lead to a shortcut in a pay/position increase.
Might as well position myself to get whatever good I can out of it.
