I'm hearing a nasty rumor that our paychecks may not come on April 15th as a result of issues in the system migrations. They're throwing any available resources at it but much like the W2 issues this is quickly becoming a trend. This must be what... — read more

Houston Trade Floor
Any insight or comments on the culture of Exxon's trade floor in Houston? I'm considering a job there, but don't have a lot of insight into it and understand it is 'transitioning' with their 3rd attempt to create a trading organization. What is comp... — read more

IT Architects
How many IT architects we have?
Amazon vs ExxonMobil
I started my career at a startup, then joined EM, and after a few years I moved to Amazon. I see a lot of comments claiming that big tech companies are just as toxic as XOM, but that hasn’t been my experience. Amazon is competitive, sure, but it’s a... — read more

What we have lost
When did just barely good enough become our goal? We used to demand the best. Being part of ExxonMobil was something to be proud of. No longer. Now we just settle for good enough. The trouble is good enough is really embarrassingly poorly done.
Hipos think they are better than you and that they earned it
The most disgusting thing is hipos who actually think they earned it. They just got lucky somehow. Many people who are just as good or better than them were never given the opportunity. It is a cr-p shoot.
How is that 0% raise treating you?
Every one else enjoying their 0% raise as much as I am. What a bunch of BS. Received a CL promotion and was moved to. New job. Was dropped in the rankings and received a 0% raise and fewer RSU awards. So basically my CL promotion has cost me money!
Ranking nonsense
My ranking has fluctuated wildly. It makes no sense.
Executives love money more than they love America
I am surprised any veterans still work at ExxonMobil when the executives hate the USA so much.
