2.5 years and an NDA to come up with an Out of the Box product called "ODW!" LOLOLOL

FKNG HILARIOUS!

The 10s of millions Dell spent on this "ODW" bs and the countless layoffs they did in order to fund it and THIS is what it looks like?

My minivvan has a similar interface and that was only 120k. Except it's not leggy af or clunky and doesn't take 5000 clicks to get where I want to go!

The Color Purple

The most important thing is to collect and destroy all the green crayons, replace them with purple crayons, then sell the devalued purple crayons to a company who wants used crayons and doesn’t have better ones

What is the sense in celebrating 147 years of a defunct company’s “legacy” while replacing all your “legacy” offerings with purple lipstick and nothing new except worse problems?

5 words: Technical Vision, Get Some Fast.

I am asked to post "team-journal" every day..

I am asked to post "team-journal" every day bullsh-t confluence posts on what i do.

Apparently this is the "future" way, not real work, not real tasks.

I got a massive AI slop task which look like epic, then i read it and half is hallucination.... most of all now they asked me to pull some strange repo and talk with devin to post my "diary" to confluence.

When will this medical experiment end?

DXC’s rebranding playbook: old sh-tty service + X = innovation.

It’s hard not to admire the confidence of DXC people who clearly don’t understand technology but are absolutely certain that adding an X to a name makes it cutting edge. Nothing screams utterly clueless than believing slapping an X on a decades-old ideas somehow makes them sellable.

The ironic part is DXC keeps selling “X-as-a-Service” like it’s the future, while every platform they hype shrinks their business. Software doesn’t need armies of consultants. It replaces them. Meanwhile, DXC leadership is too busy slapping Xs on sh‑t-tier legacy services to realize they’re selling their own business to extinction.

Is there no one to tell what the truth is, to the world.....

Check out this latest news!.

https://www.travelpress.com/sabre-unveils-once-in-a-generation-company-rebuild-ai-first-platform-at-itb-berlin/

Is this a joke?

Look at some of the lines in the article

"Over the last several years, under a refreshed executive leadership team, Sabre has executed a full modernization of its technology stack, moving to the cloud, rebuilding core systems, and unifying once fragmented capabilities under the new Sabre Mosaic™ platform"

"Sabre completed this rebuild while simultaneously strengthening its financial foundation. Disciplined debt management, portfolio actions, and operating rigor enabled the company to modernize without carrying forward legacy constraints.

A focused strategy has enabled Sabre to materially increase its engineering capacity over the past year, accelerating innovation cycles and time-to-market"

This is pure deception and no one is telling the truth!!!!!

Omnicell's TITANIC moment

Is it just me, or did they literally name the flagship product to rhyme with Titanic? 🚢💀 At least they’re being honest about the iceberg. 🧊

While the rest of us are getting "The Email" 📧👋 and watching the rolling layoffs like it’s a Netflix horror special, "Leadership" is out here doing the most:

The Strategy: Selling vaporware that doesn’t exist.

The Pivot: Sprinkling "AI" on the trash fire to hide the smell. 🤖💩

The Grind: Posting "Inspirational" LinkedIn thought-leadership slop while the actual product hasn't been updated since the Stone Age.

And we HAVE to talk about our favorite "30 Under 30" Queen. 👑✨ After absolutely nuking the Product Roadmap into the sun, she’s been promoted to "Head of Strategy." 🤡

WTF does that even mean? Is the strategy just "How to fail upward while keeping a curated aesthetic"? Asking for a friend. 💅

AI tranformation will be a flop

AI transformation with LLMs integrated even into toilet seats will be a huge flop and one he-l of an expensive experiment.

All the cash thrown at Palantir, Snowflake, AI APIs, AI engineers, LangGraph and the rest of it is going to deliver zero ROI and just pile on more headaches. The data at AT&T is in absolute terrible shape, loads of systems are vendor locked, and IBM still holds all the keys. We've also got the never ending battle between official IT and shadow IT, not to mention the CDO clashing with pretty much everyone else in the company.

Instead of actually putting money into rebuilding a solid foundation where customers, provisioning, products and a single billing system would properly live, we're just dumping millions into quick fixes and Band Aids dressed up as agentic AI (total slop) and into a fancy new campus that just about everyone is going to hate.

Sometimes it really feels like a lot of these decisions are being made because someone's getting influenced or straight up because of corruption.

Has anyone actually seen a working AI product here that customers actually use?

All this hype and push around AI has been going on for over a year now. What all do we have to show for it besides people posting that they did the AI dojo on LinkedIn, and some sloppy chat bot POC's that read internal documentation?

All this talk about agents and an AI future seems like a complete scam with no basis.

A poor way to innovate.

Medtronic took outside investment for structural heart R&D, and now structural heart is of hundreds of millions of dollars in the hole, with every product delayed, mired in incompetent leadership From Nina down to directors. Nina, who works remote, brought in a VP, Sunny Kankanala, who works remote, filled with engineers that all have "collaboration days". This seems a poor way to innovate.

Lol, just LOL at MARLEY

Already being forgotten about weeks after it’s much hyped “release”. How many millions were spent on this snake oil AOL instant messenger robo-text waste of time? Someone in “design” gon be heading for the soup kitchen once tommy and the boys get wind of this! “BRB workin claims xoxo”
