I cannot control what happens in all off this, but there is something I can do. Every day I pray that the people on my team will be blessed as we all go through these changes. I also pray for wisdom for Target leadership.

I feel the axe shouldve fallen on the likes of Shelley and they should have kept mike and john. the way shelley leads her team is a joke..

This board proves that even with all the coffees and gtkys we have no idea what our counterparts do. We can't all be both overworked and do nothing. This is a major problem and contributes to culture issues.

Both merch and TSS are overstaffed. PM roles are a joke as the buyers could work directly with the TSS teams overseas - many PMs should be eliminated. Some buyer work can be shifted to category managers. If they automate more of merch BA role, then... — read more

Having .com Buyers and store Buyers seems a little redundant, but really two different jobs considering .com Buyers have a different skill set. Any word on the fate of any type of buyer?

What do you think - what's the likelihood that Senior Buyers will be laid off?

Is it worth it to retain legal counsel to negotiate a better severance package? Or do you just sign on the dotted line?

It's a certainty they already know who's staying and going, why not tell people asap so they can move on and not have to check layoffs.com for updates on their livelihood. Also how does this wait help business???
