I heard that Managers with PG 13-17 are being "targeted" and that Sr. Managers with less than 20 ppl on their team also have a "bullseye" on their backs. Is this about right?

I am a PG11 and my boss is a PG15. I am the only person who reports to her. I could do both our jobs and still get everything important done in 40-50 hours a week. My job doesn't have enough to it that I find I am doing non-value add stuff just to fill-up my time or spending all my time helping others on the team do their jobs. I really like my boss and she is really good at her job, there are just simply to many people and not enough work.
I think that's a great idea!
most mangers PG13 still have a fulltime job and manage 1 person so the bigger manager doesn't have to have so many direct reports, seems odd they would let go those lower level workers who still have a large workload. Are you thinking anyone with a direct report in general could be a bigger risk at being targeted for layoffs?
