Its my turn! Ive been on this site for a couple of weeks now. It started with curiosity and has ended at total frustration. Lets be clear about something. Brian Cornell is not a good person. I don't equate 20,000 fired employees with someone who is "a good person doing a tough job." This guy is a multi milionaire. MULTI! He cashes out with millions of the dollars many of us helped bank. Yep, ol Triple G sucked too, but he was too stupid to be a "bad" person. He didn't start out with a goal and focus to wreak complete havoc on employees and their families. His incredibly dumb decision making and incompetent Executive Team threw out the slowest softball pitch imaginable and Brian saw that sucker coming before he was even hired. Can you imagine how he salivated about the opportunity to crush the pitch he was given? Any person on this forum given the position Brian has could simply cut headcount and Brian gets to do it just as he has before. I don't discount that we are fat on the hog at HQ. I understand we need to cut expense. I don't however in any way at all believe that you have to do it the way he and his gang of tards is doing it. My way might be slower, but it is one helluva lot less destructive and the Street would still appreciate it. Want to know what that approach is? Look for my next post under Brian'sBiatch and Ill share. Nothing spectacular about it. However, this post is for you folks that think this current approach is awesome. It isn't awesome and my 15 years at Target basically means nothing now. I drank the koolaid too long and I realize that. It will never happen again. But let me be clear about something. Ill get shit canned tomorrow with my entire department (yep, entire dept gonna get whacked) knowing that I delivered some amazing work in my time and I was worth every penny I was paid. While Im popping a cold on my way home (after Brian has shown me the door with his foot in my ass) Ill have that shit eating grin knowing Im smarter than you goofballs hailing one of the most evil and oblivious CEOs the Fortune 500 has ever seen. Oh by the way, for those of you that think its so awesome that Brian is often down in the TPN/TPS cafe at lunch because he is so connected with the working man. Your smoking something. That guy is down there the same reason I am and thats to see that amazing ass from Merchandising!

Interesting comments - can't wait to hear your suggestions. Personally I've always struggled with the whole band-aid question, pull slowly in an attempt to make it hurt less or rip the sucker off & be done with it quickly. The one thing I haven't seen here is accountability of the Board of Directors. I have a hard time believing Brian is doing "his own thing" here. Wouldn't surprise me if he was brought in specifically to be an axe-man on someone else's orders. guess that doesn't really matter to the rank & file. At least they're taking some VPs with us this time.
